A better way to deal with consuming powder supplements?
I did the bare essential stack with a modification to take both 100mg doses of Pygeum at once to save time and because it makes no difference it seems.
(1) Lecithin powder, 1200mg Strength, Taken 1 time daily = 1200mg
(2) Pygeum powder, Taken 1 time daily = 200mg
(3) Zinc, 50mg Strength, Taken 1 time daily = 50mg
I stopped after a month and saw success, and I’m ready to restart again. But last time it was very messy:
Zinc tablets was fine with water as long as I gulped quickly (it tastes terrible), but the powder was always messy. Scooping them daily was annoying and left little powder dust easily over my desk (I have to keep all the ingredients near me), but it was better than trying to use pill containers for powders (even messier to get all the powder out). Initially I tried to swallow the two powders straight, but it didn’t go well and felt like I did a mini cinnamon powder challenge. Later I tried to mix it thoroughly with water, but I couldn’t stand the taste and texture that well with every sip and gulp. Lastly I decided to throw each scoop into a cup of water and, without mixing, just immediately gulp water and swallow the floating blobs of powder before they had time to diffuse and make the rest of the water unpalatable.
I know this is pretty much 1st world problems, but I’m curious if anyone has some better or ingenious way to deal with these same issues? Hopefully any solutions in this thread can help others who are really into supplements or perhaps can’t stand the taste and texture like me.
