Is warm down important

Hello I have PEing for about 2 months now. My routine consists of 5-10 minutes warm ups, 7 minutes of stretching and 200 jelqs. I warm up by using a hot wet cloth and I do not perform warm downs but I have a hot shower after my PE session. Does that count as a warm down? Also is warm down really important for PE?

For some it’s important, for some doesn’t.

Do week of Your routine without warm-down, and then week with warm-down. Find out which method works better for Your PI’s.

For two months I have been using heat during my workouts, but toward the end of hanging sets I allow everything to cool off to allow some load in the cooled state, hoping that will allow the tissues to preserve the stretch.

I should try to use heat all the way through and compare.

It looks like you are gaining so finish out the month and measure. Then go another two months with heat and see if you gain more.

You could also wait till you plateau and then add in heat at the end.

I haven’t measured in a while and really don’t Like to as I’ve had a few nasty surprises, though I am confident I have achieved some new growth since adding heat and more hanging sets.

I’m honestly not sure but in my case I sometimes do them and sometimes I don’t since I use a hot towel in my penis for my warm up then when I’m done if the water is still hot I dip the towel in the water again and do a warm down but if the water got cold already then I just don’t do them.


Start: 1/22/13 NBPEL 5" EG 5.25"

Short Term Goal NBPEL 6" EG 5.5"

Goal NBPEL 7" EG 6"

Heat is critical to growth in my estimation.

I would be curious as to whether anyone has gained without it.

I don’t think Bennett8 used heat. Maybe He would have gained more or faster if using heat then maybe not. Even if its useless for gains (I Believe it is though) It makes my unit relaxed and that makes stretching much easier.

In my experience, heat has been a critical component when used before and during my workouts but I have had much faster growth when using a cool down at the end of my sessions. Using a cool down has been more beneficial as far as solidifying all potential growth than a warm down ever did.
