Yeah I know that this post is pretty old,
But here’s the solution that I’ve been using forever since my first silicon strap broke.
It works as a charm, it’s adjustable, never slip, never loosen, very durable (never changed it) and I’m sure they don’t want to use that on their device
(Though it’s the best solution IMO) because they wouldn’t make money out of it afterwards.
But since this device cost a lot of money to begin with, I think that being cunning on controlled-expiry fragile straps is a wise thing to do.
Search for: *Sleeping Bag Straps* on google..
Or go to any Outdoor sport store, or any camping section on a hardware store.
I’m pretty sure you’re gonna find some.
