Stretching Technique

I’m adjusting my routine a bit to make sure I get a complete stretch every time. I’ve read a lot recently on relaxing while you stretch and concluded that 30 seconds isn’t enough time for me to relax into a stretch. I feel that I need a full 30 seconds of me slowly extending my unit before it reaches its full BPFSL. I have picked up a Gymboss interval timer to help me keep track of stretch time and number of sets while I stretch. I’m also going to lower the amount of jelqs I do, as I really want to put on some length first. I’m playing with the idea of starting a photo progress log but I don’t really want to have 2 separate progress reports.. Anyway let me know what you guys think of my adjusted routine.

For the next month I will be doing this routine:
10min Warm-up with heating pad
15min stretching in all directions holding each stretch for 1min (I’m hoping that I’ll get at least 30sec of real relaxed stretching with each hold)
150 wet jelqs with light/ medium grip (40-80% erect)
5min warm-down with heating pad and then a how shower right after.
I do some very light downward pulls when I go to the bathroom and once and awhile at night right before bed just to keep me elongated.

Short term goal: STAY POSITIVE!
BPEL: 6.5”
EG: 5.25

Longer stretching holds are making my hands soar but I think slow and steady stretching will win the race. I have started to experiment with the v-grip/ knuckle grip to ease up a little bit on the soar hands but I cant seem to get the hang of it (no pun intended)…. it just doesn’t feet natural. I’m taking all suggestions and tips about the v-grip if someone wants to share. If someone could show me the v-grip in action that would be awesome. I saw marineras pictures with the belt and I think I need an actual picture of someone stretching using the v-grip. Maybe I’m just over thinking it.

I’m sticking with the routine from my last post until the end of the month. This will be ~3 months of the newbie routine and then I can decide if I should take a break or increase intensity.

Easing into my stretching it paying off and it feels like its becoming more effective. I can feel that my ligs have been worked out because they’re sore but don’t hurt. This feeling takes about an hour or so to set in but I think like this is a positive sign. I’ve been focusing more on downward stretching and doing 2x SW S SE to my 1x NW N NE (it makes more sense if you look at your dick as a compass).

I’ve learned that if I stretch at night it feels like I’m getting a better stretch than in the morning. That being said I found that the best time for me to jelq is in the morning and that jelqing at night is less effective. Just an observation I’ve made. I’m going to start edging soon so I can regain some of the stamina I’ve lost over the years which is causing me unwanted stress. Any tips or thread referrals on edging or increasing sex stamina would be great. I like reading as much as I can.

Keep up the good work everyone!

Hustonwoods thread with loads of edging advice is solid gold. It’s helped me last longer but more importantly given me confidence that I’m going to last, which feeds into the positivity and helping then last. It’s like a positive cycle

Starting Feb 2019: BPEL: 7.5inch MSEG: 5inch EQ 8/10

Goal: BPEL: 8inch MSEG: 5.5inch EQ: dialed up to 11!

Excellent!! I’ll definitely have to check that out. Thanks for the tip Hame!

I’m on another business trip so my routine might be inconsistent. I’m going to do the best I can to stick with the routine I outlined earlier but I think Jelqing will be harder to hide than stretching. Almost the end of my 3rd month on the newbie routine. Will there be a gain!? I don’t know, but my dick seems to be fatter and hang lower. My BPFSL has increased and I’m hoping this translates to erect gains. Keep on tuggin everyone!!!

Hey man, I’m currently at work so didn’t have time to read whole thread, but I read the first post and skimmed through the rest.

I have a similar story, but my first year was manual stretching with no results.

I restarted again in January with a difference approach.

I see you quoted marines post about amount of tension applied. I feel this was a big turning point for me, as I was yanking and pulling as hard as I could.

I dialed it back, now I stretch to my max length, then just a tiny bit more force than that. Meanwhile hitting that sucker with heat. I use a far infrared tdp lamp. Although pricey I feel it has been invaluable to my progress.

As of my restart in January I’m just passing the 1/2 inch mark for gains in 4 months.

Anyway. Hope this quick reply helps.. Heat and light tension are my 2 major tips.

Good luck!

I need all the pointers I can get! I’m interested in the IR lamp. I’ve tried to hold a heating pad while I stretch and its just to cumbersome to work correctly… unless I can figure out how to grow a third arm :D Can you recommend a IR light? Thanks Slythis

I’m using a tdp IR lamp. I’ll have to get the brand name when I get back to town. I read the tdp lamp is superior to the normal IR lamps as the heat penetrates deeper into tissues instead of just warming the surface like a heating pad or rice sock would. After a session the area is visibly red for quite some time and you can really feel the heat penetrating. It also has a mineral plate on it that supposedly infuses the tissues with minerals and helps with healing and blood flow. Although I’m slightly skeptical as it sounds like some ancient Chinese medicine type stuff.

I work in the northern canadian oil fields and basically live out of a duffle bag that rides around in the back of a truck getting thrown around and hit with tools and such. I keep it wrapped in my clothese for protection of some sort, so far its held together and seems fairly durable. Would last forever in a household environment I’m sure. As little pricey I believe around $400 usd, but worth every penny if you’re serious about PE imo.

Search amazon for IR tdp lamp for a few examples and explanation.

I’m going to start hunting on amazon to see what I can find. I think this IR lamp would be beneficial for more things than PE (but who am i kidding, I’ll probably just use it for PE) so I can justify spending some cash on a piece of equipment like this.

Had one of the best workouts I’ve had since I started the newbie routine and I think its because I sat in the tub for 15min prior too. I think the IR lamp would give the same benefits as a hot bath but without all the water. I can’t justify wasting a bunch of water everyday just to warm for a PE routine and a hot wash cloth doesn’t seem to get me that loosened up. I thought I read somewhere that there’s a type of heating pad that releases moisture when warmed up. I’m going to look into this.

I wonder if you could use a hot water bottle with controlled temp of water and a damp cloth?

For a back injury/physio I was using this to produce damp heat and damn it works and gets the heat in there! For PE you would want to make sure it’s not too hot to maybe using a set temperature measured before fill would be safer.

Something like this? Thanks for the idea Hame, I think this could work and they’re pretty inexpensive.

I bought a Philips 150w infrared lamp with table stand.

I bought here in my country in a pharmacy, something around 70 dollars.

I use only IR for heating, it keeps heat throughout the workout.

I think it’s worth it.

Definitely going to get one of these lights to see how beneficial they can be. I can always upgrade my light if I like how it’s affecting my PE. Thanks freelancer!
