Starting or Signing Up for a Study

Hi guys,

So I’ve been trying to research penis size for some time, and find studies from condom companies and occasionally urologists. I wonder, how does one start a study like this? Or alternately, how would one sign up for a study? I’d like to get involved, maybe get some empirical data together on all the different methods of penis enlargement (Clamping, Manual Exercise, Pumping Routines, Stretchers, etc.) I’m sure it would be a huge study (pun intended) and probably very expensive. Do we have any urologists in the house? Thanks in advance.

I feel that TP has a huge wealth of data from our btrothers records and charts.

I feel you could use that data for comparative gains over time for men who utilize certain methods over other methods

For the most part you can also determin age range, length of time PE, and other factors from these forums.

Survey monkey is also handy and Sampilicious for survey style research. Not to mention Polls here on TP.

Just want to be happily me. ;)

Start: BPEL 6.3" EG 5.1"

Now: BPEL 7.5" EG 5.7" Goal: MORE

That is a good point. I think my main concern is self reported data. Obviously there’s not much of a reason for fellow members to lie, but I think self reporting mistakes or technical mistakes would be reduced when supervised by medical staff. Again, very expensive. I’d imagine getting a Urologist for half a year, along with equipment, medical assistants, nurses, lab techs and etc. would cost millions of dollars. So that might be the best bet.

Beyond a doubt that WOULD be the most accurate way. But also the most costly method. Possibly connecting with Urologists as you said and asking if they would be interested in this study would be a good start.

If you did TP only I would recommend ONLY using people who post solid BPEL BPFL and BPSL photos with measurements on those photos and account for a +/- 3-5cm margin or error for recording. That way regardless of user error the general measurement CHANGES as accurate.

Polls would require photo evidence. So people like myself who have no starting photo but have current photos would not count.

Or you can only count our first measurement with photographic evidence and our last measurement with photographic evidence as a true change.

If you could find Urologists willing to partake in this study free of charge you could formulate a questionnaire for men to find out what PE if any they do and have their dr do an exam at their checkups and then create a FB group advertising its existence where they can fill out their form, print it out, and take it to their Dr or Urologist anywhere.

Just some thoughts. Haha this is right up my alley my guy. I love creating research studies.

Most of the U.S. Studies are done at research institutions where they have large research budgets and a number of lower paid doctors (residents fresh out of school) to do almost all of the work.

Also, there’s a lot of red tape you have to go through before you can even get the study started, like getting IRB approval, etc.
