10 minute Kegel

So I was at work today, at my computer, and leaning forward a bit. I started doing some kegels for the hell of it.. And I found that in the exact way I was sitting at the moment, I could keep my (BC? The muscle on the underside) flexed pretty much indefinitely. I kept it that way for a LONG time, probably like ten minutes, and during it I would further contract it at times. It started to hurt a bit.. Not really painful, more like a good muscle burn, and it would also involuntarily contract quite a bit. Finally I couldn’t take it anymore so let it up.. But do you think this is something I should attempt to recreate? Is this a good way to Kegel if it can be reproduced consistently?

How long have you been practicing kegels for? Have you noticed benefits so far?

I heard something once about back bridging giving the BC/PC muscles a hell of a workout in a similar fashion to what CoB mentioned.

And Slack, isn’t the “anal muscle” one of the two mentioned above? I recall one thread discussing something about practicing his Kegels by lubing up a banana or a dildo, sticking it up his ass, and walking around, kegeling to keep it from falling out.

I meant squeezing his buttocks…….

Oh, thanks for clearing that up. However, I don’t see how one could confuse glutei-fatigue for BC/PC-fatigue. And honestly, even though I haven’t done it myself, it’s within my realm of reason to believe that a 10-minute Kegel is possible.

CoB - Do go ahead and try to duplicate this exercise, see if you were in fact squeezing your glutes, not your BC/PC, and if not, let us know how you positioned yourself.

Perhaps you are right. The muscle feels like it is inbetween my penis and anus.. And I know the involuntary contractions were moving my penis. I was leaning forward, so maybe I was contracting my anal muscle towards my penis and also occasionally contracting my BC muscle.. I’m not sure. Something was contracted for 10 minutes, and I didn’t feel it near my anus
