Hey guys, I’m brand new here an this seems like a great place. Well may as well give you a lil background info. I’ve been on and off jelqing for about 3 months only with the odd week here and there, but ended up stoping because of conflicting information, or scared by horror stories of bent penises and ones that don’t go hard at all anymore due to jelqing on the Internet.
The problem is I never had a good complex source of info, so when I stumbled on this I thought I’d struck gold.

Goals wise I only want whatever I can get -just so I can feel really good about myself instead of just barley satisfied (6.9” ish nbpl and just under 5 in girth)-so I’m taking it easy and I pretty much sliced the newbie routine in half.rep wise that is.

The question I had was in relation to manual stretches, which is new to me. The upward stretch felt great, I could realy feel a deep pull, which was confortable. The downward stretch on the otherhand wasn’t. I had a slight discomfort on the skin (mostly at the base), as if I was stretchin the skin more than it was ment to go, and I felt little going on in my actual penis, as if it was just on the skin level.
I also had a pproblem with grip (on all stretches), my fingers constantly kept slipping over the head, disrupting the stretch half way through.

The last thing I want is stretch marks on the lil guy, so could any one offer any advice.

7 nbp is 0.5” away from most members goal here… keep that in mind. Some baby power may help with grip. It is wise to start slow and increase as necessary. Avoid pain. You should not get any stretch marks. Finally, welcome. :clap:

But how hard should I pull down, because on the downward stretch, I really don’t feel it anywhere in the penis, just the skin when I pull quite firmly.

But then again I’m one of those people who doesn’t think somethings working if I can’t feel it. Should I be feeling it?

You starting off big mate, lucky! You are right to be concerned about injury, it does happen. However, having experienced one myself I am of the opinion that you have to really go at it to seriously damage your dick, as in to the point where you ignore all commonsense bodily signals. I cannot seem to get the hang of upward stretching, perhaps because I have “less” dick than you length wise.

Also on the stretches I felt too much stress was being places on the head and that it was forcing too much blood in there, how can I avoid this?

Hey jww,

Firstly are you uncircumcised? If you are try pulling the foreskin back before stretching, that should take away the feeling of just stretching skin.

As for too much pressure in the head, try gripping further down the shaft away from the glans, and if the head is engorged with too much blood after locking your grip just squeeze the head gently which should push some of the blood out, which will help reduce the pressure on your glans when stretching.

Last thing you want to be doing is gripping too tightly under the glans, because if I’m correct their is a bundle of nerves just below the glans which you don’t want to be causing any damage too. Just take it easy and don’t over do.

2nd stab at the newbie routine today.

As always with the jelqing, it felt good and looked good afterwards, and I adjusted my grip so that most pressure was on the sides of the shaft, eliminating a problem I used to encounter which was a clicking sound on the underside of the shaft (a better way of explaining it would be the feeling of an air bubble being pushed down my shaft and clicking at the end). So all is good there.

The stretching was better. Thanks fourofakind, the baby powder did wonders for the grip and didn’t get any sliding over the glans, and I had more available skin to play with which eliminated the skin pulling. However I still had the problem of too much pressure being put onthe glans. It was only a mild discomfort but I don’t want to damage it. I tried gripping mid-shaft and above, away from the glans, but I would always find my grip moving toward the head.
Where is everyone elses grip during manual stretch? And has anyone else had this problem?
