6 months and no gains

I started jelqing last July. Had a couple of 3 week deconditioning breaks.. But still.. No gains in 6 months! Been doing 17ml’s cobra conditioning routine. I warm up well. Any advice? Is it normal to go so long without any change?

Sorry if I ask, but often I’m pretty dumb: have you done the newbie routine?

Jelqing… Um… 100 jelqs? 600 jelqs? Obviously, we need some more information.

17ml’s cobra routine is a newbie routine, the only difference being a slightly different grip. I should point out that for the first 2 months I was on the normal newbie routine.

I’m doing:

Warm up

5 way stretches + rotaries

3 sets of 50 jelqs

3 sets of 25 V-jelqs

You might get better results from paying attention to the quality of the exercises rather than the number of them. Sometimes when you count you forget to pay attention to the impact you are having on your penis. The idea is to cause engorgement but to not pass the discomfort threshold.

Recognize.

Switch to something different. If you are interested in length hanging or wearing an extender could be worth a try; if girth is your primary goal, dry-jelqs/pumping/clamping.

Just please don’t leave the site thinking this is fake, it is a wonderful amazing thing here.

Try dry jelqs and A-stretches every time you pee… hold the stretch after you flush the chain and stop the stretch when the toilet tank fills up again.

Time to measure girth soon... previously 4.5", been targeting girth for months!

So it doesn’t matter if your warmed up for this?

I wrote it wrong. I meant, do the dry jelqs with a warm up. I didn’t mean do them after each pee, that’s just for the A-stretches.

A-stretches are fine without a warm up… a warm up would be better, but that’s impossible when you do them so often.

OK I’m with you. Thanks.

Not sure if I should be moving onto more advanced techniques when I’ve gained nothing from conditioning. I’m worried my unit can’t grow actually. Here’s the problem, I keep getting a firm flaccid from PE. I’ve taken 2 deconditioning breaks due to this since I began (about 3 weeks each time). I started again at the beginning of January, and within days was getting firm again. Decided to ignore it this time and treat it as a sign of growth, but it seems to have gotten harder. I’ve decided to stop again. I didn’t think I was going at it too hard but I guess my unit says otherwise. I’m sure I warm up sufficiently, perhaps I stretch slightly too hard, or jelq slightly too tightly (though I never feel any pain or discomfort). When I’ve tried as softly as an egg it just doesn’t really feel like I’ve done anything. My girth is about 4.6 and find it difficult to engorge from just caressing it.

I’m worried my unit has got to tough to make any future gains : (

Could this be the case?

Probably you have used too much intensity, so ligthen up. I don’t think your chances to gain could be permanently stopped by a too hard regimen - a decon-break and a wiser approach is all what you need. I’d advise to stay on the linear newbie rotuine, maybe you are a ‘less is more’ guy.

Something doesn’t fit in this image. Firm flaccid may suggest overtraining, but no gains at all indicates undertraining. Overtraining is associated with quick initial gains that later stop.

I suggest changing your routine to something very different from what you have done until now.

Starting BPEL: 6.9" (Dec.1st, 2008)

Current BPEL: 8.11" NBPEL: 7.63" BPFSL: 9.09"

Current MEG : 5.6"

Thanks for the advice guys. It’s true, something is strange when I keep getting this firmness but no growth at all. It’s very hard now when I’m turtled. Not good. I’ll just have to wait and see if it softens again.

Is this a common problem, and how long is recommended for deconditioning?

When I get back into it I think I will stick a newbie routine like marinera says, and be very gentle with it. It doesn’t seem right to move onto other techniques when I’ve gained nothing.

I also think that it is very normal. Don’t worry too much. Everything will be ok. You know , that is life
