What I’ve learned from two years of PE is that it’s truly still undiscovered. I have never run out of new things to try and I am still learning everyday, and every time I visit thunders.

There are dozens of things I haven’t tried yet, and endless possibilities in terms of experimenting with new routines.

Everyones advice here is good; looking at PE as hobby has been the most benefit to me, being consistent is probably the greatest thing you can do for gains, but only if the routine is helping.

Sometimes it’s hard to be consistent due to life’s dillemas, but if you can’t physical feel results (even the tiniest millimeter in change) after two weeks of a routine, then try something new or add more.

Always test, or measure your prospective progress after a rest day, and with that said…try working in different schedules around days of rest.

I personally didn’t see any gains until the introduction of clamping and lots of heat.

As I said before, I am an APR07 Newbie. I have only just finished my 1st month of PEing, but have already seen some small gains. And, I do believe that some of it was due to beginning to PUMP. So, you might want to think about it. I began because of a small ED problem possibly brought on by an accident a year ago last February, plus the trauma and the medications. The pump has help immensely and I “highly recommend” it! :up: But, make sure you get one with a pressure gage. That is very important for a new pumper.

After the first 8 days (on a 2 day on and 1 day off schedule), I was not seeing or feeling any thing different other than I had developed a lot of “extra” skin that bothered me. But, the members set me straight on how to do things differently and now the extra skin is receding somewhat. I was getting discouraged and having been small all of my life, I didn’t want to be disappointed again.

About this time I was advised to try pumping by a couple of the TP gang,
so I ordered a deluxe pump from “lapdist” (.com) and received it on my actual 14th PE workout day and began using it that day. I began at a pressure of 2-3Hg and did 3 sets of 5 minutes in length. So, I have now been doing that, with increases in time and pressure (now up to 10 minutes x 4 sets at 5Hg) for the last 12 “workout” days. My penis feels bigger, plumper and my slight ED was getting better.

I wanted to make sure that my measurements would be correct, so I took them on May 14th after almost “2 complete days of rest from PEing.” I was extremely pleased with the small gains that I found. My biggest gains have been in girth and I believe that it is because of pumping. As you can see, over the last 30 “work” days, I’ve gained 5/8” in EL, but a “BIG” 1-1/4” in EG. I also gained 7/16” in FL and 5/8” in FG. I just hope I keep it. However, if I never gain anything more, I will be happy! :)

So, get a pump with a pressure gage :up: and add it to your routine.

The pump really helped eh? I am still in the first week of the Newbie Routine, but have a feeling I am going to be a hard gainer. After about week 3 of the routine I am going to have to decide what equipment I will need to buy so that it is hopefully here by the end of my first 6 weeks of PE. It is a little daunting as the budget is definitely limited and I am unsure whether I should get a pump/hanger/ADS etc.

Well, I think I am way too much of a Newbie to try hanging. That will have to come later. I have gotten an AutoADS, and have only used it a couple of times. It’s fairly comfortable and very easy to attach. I just need to spend more time trying it out in different ways to find the most comfortable way for me to wear it. I’m glad I bought it.

But, the pump, Gimli, I swear by it. You can’t help but gain with it. I don’t know if the gains will be permanent, but who cares! Do it a couple of hours before sex and……well I won’t go there! I just wish I had gotten it years ago, or at least at the time I started the Newbie routine.

I did have a bit of trouble at first getting used to the pump. I wasn’t lubing it correctly and my dick was not rising correctly in the cylinder and the head was doubling up inside. :rolling: But, it’s working okay now and, I swear, it is almost addictive! I have to be careful not to pump too much :) Today I tried it with a water based lube, and about 1/4 cup of warm water inside the cylinder, and what a sensation that was! :D Whew!

Yes it is a bit expensive, but if I was to get only one, I would get the Pump. Just make sure you get one WITH A GAGE so that you will not “over pump” and cause damage to your dick. After all, we will only have one in this life!

I am thinking after the newbie routine to just increase jelqing and stretching, and after your post I will almost surely get a pump. Which pump did you get? Is there a general consensus on what is the best pump out there? And I will definitely want one with a gage as I couldn’t agree with you more regarding that. I want gains and all, but really I wouldn’t change anything if it meant my cock was out of commission or heaven forbid permanently damaged.

I promise I will get together some information tomorrow, that I was given by some of the other members, and send it to you by PM. Right now I am watching the Yankee/White Sox game, and afterwards I have to hit the sack. I have an early morning meeting.

There are a number of pumps to be had, but if you are mechanically inclined, you can buy parts from various places and put one together yourself and cut the price quite a bit. I am a real klutz when it comes to anything mechanical. I can give you that information sometime tomorrow. I figured that I would have problems putting all the parts together, so I finally purchased a “lapdist deluxe pump package” so that I wouldn’t have to put it together myself. I can’t give you the web address, but I can say that I got my lapdist pump from lapdist (.com). You can check out their website.

You might want to check out all the treads about pumping in the Pumper Forum ad read the piece written by supersizeit.

I will provide the information tomorrow.

Sorry, but I tried to attach it to this message, but couldn’t do it. Check out the postings, in this thread, to me from Lampwick where he tells how to get separate parts and put it together yourself.

In the long run, I decided to spend the extra money and get a “lapdist” deluxe package (with gage) instead of buying the parts and putting it together myself.

Make sure that you get a cylinder that is the correct size for you, otherwise you will pump your balls into it too. The lapdist (.com) site has a sizing chart so that you can choose the correct size for you.

I purchased the “Deluxe Package” #SKU15, but this includes a video that is more pornographic than helpful. The deluxe pump with gage # SKU6 and the cylinder #SKU1 can be obtained separately (without the porno flick/video) for a savings of $10.05. Believe me, the video isn’t worth $10.05!

Also, read as much as you can about pumping, and view the postings on the Pumping Forum.

Was off line all day, but thanks very much for the advice on pumping. Like Gimli, I’m considering a pump based on what you say and what I’ve read elsewhere. Even if the gains aren’t permanent, gains is gains - and of course I’ll continue my PE routine as well.

I’m not sure if this has been alluded to yet muggles, but your routine to me looks awfully light. Now, of course it’s always wise to err on the side of caution, but the “less is more” approach obviously doesn’t work for you. I know if I did 10 minutes stretching and 10 minutes jelqing a day I’d have to persist for all eternity and still be lucky to gain a millimetre.

Now, you could try pumping/hanging/ADS-ing as you’ve been advised so far, but you could also try a more robust manual routine. I think sometimes guys just stroke their penis for 10 minutes a day and wonder why they don’t gain. You have to strive for what BIB referred to as fatigue - stretch downwards hard, and work your way up to 30-40 minutes a day, and really force the blood through your penis when you jelq - again looking for mild discormfort. If you get nothing after 2 months try something else.

Good advice. As a newbie, I was concerned about “overconditioning” at first, but after this amount of time, I think you’re probably right; I need to step it up. It’s been less than a month now that I’ve been doing the hard downward stretches (20-30 seconds) as opposed to less rigorous 5-second stretches, and I can certainly feel a difference if not actually see it yet (not pain, but I can definitely *feel* my ligs after stretching) - but I need to do more of this. Not clear though if you mean 30-40 minutes per day of stretching alone? As for jelqing, I already do 30 minutes a day, 10 min in the morning and 20 in the evening (with 10+ minutes stretching each session). Maybe more jelqing too?

30 minutes of jelqing a day should be more than sufficient to cause fatigue, as long as you are using enough intensity; 3-5 second jelqs concentrating on that feel of expansion and slight soreness. Along with said stretching you should see gains in 2-3 months, if not try a new approach.
