A thread about injury just got me worried.

A thread about injury just got me worried.

Nothing happened as I’ve only just started but the poster touched on an issue I’ve read before here briefly.

When jelqing I know you avoid the glans, but is it also recommendable to ease off pressure just before as I believe there is a concentration of nerves there?

Any advice from experienced PE’ers would be greatly appreciated.

You’re right to be worried. When you join a gym these days, they make you do an induction course before they let you anywhere near the machines or weights. PE is just as serious. You should read this site from top to bottom, and that will save you a lot of problems further down the line. Even people who have been at it for 2 years or more have the odd injury - usually when they are “on a roll” and decide to up the force.

Read Sparkyx’s EQ and PI threads, and you will learn about tuning in to your body’s responses.

I'm fed up of having a signature!

Thanks for the reply. I’ve done these things, it’s just that one that specifically relates to the nerves located just below the glands.

If you are worried about that then Yes, Take it easy when approching the Glans. You will soon find out how much pressure you penis can tolerate , Just work so that there is no pain which is the best indicator, Keep inside that level and you should be fine.
