ADS fluid buildup

Ive been using ADS for about a month now. I can’t seem to stop fluid buildup on the tip of my head where is meets the plastic head peace of the ADS system. I occasionally kegel and jelq blood up to the head as much as I can. When I remove the system to check, it does feel cold. What kind of long term issues am I looking at? Or is this OK as long as I check every few hours?

The fluid build-up is more of an annoyance than anything. If it gets serious, you’ve got to go by the traditional wisdom of taking a good break. However, you may find that the donut doesn’t go away, and you may choose to return to ADS. Nonetheless, the donut only tends to be an esthetic problem. Beyond that, if your penis is getting cold and stuff you probably aren’t doing something quite right. Maybe you are trying to stretch it too far too soon. A four inch stretch is a good starting point and should be acceptable for 6+ weeks.

Ok, sounds good. Yeah, sometimes I feel the need to keep it stretched to the point that there is noticeable tension on my ligs. But i guess that is really more of an extender function than an ADS. I will keep that in mind.

Fluid build-up is standard operating procedure with the vacuum type ADS’. Tape your glans and you’ll be fine. Of course you’d still want to take intermittent breaks to rest but you can do easily manage marathon sessions of 3 hours with no discomfort (barring the tension level you set the extender at). Continually having fluid build up can lead to problems. It can gradually weaken the tissue by causing the expansion which can lead to easy hemorrhage.

I’ve heard other veteran members say that the permanent donut is mostly esthetic, and if anything it is the body’s way of providing some protection to the point of pressure. If you have any articles or threads I could read about the hemmorhaging I’d be very curious.
