Hi Homer
Jelqing is always told to be a basic exercise, but in my eyes jelqing is a quite complicated thing. In the sense that jelqing, in opposition to manual stretching which really is simple, requires a lot of self-observation to become effective. Not that I consider jelqing as advanced exercise, but a perfect jelq is definitely something you need some experience to find out what it is. I call a perfect jelq a manual art, and as always in art perfection comes from practice.
But sculpting nice theories doesn’t help you, so let’s get to some practical hints how to find your individual perfect jelq.
- Lubrication
Wet or dry jelq, all the same, should be done IMHO with a slippery penis. The idea is not to give stress to the skin but to move blood in the CC and CS. Lubrication therefore reduces resistance from the skin and makes jelqing easier. Anything from slippery to dripping wet works.
- Heat
I advocate to jelq on a well pre-heated penis as all tissues are soft and flexible. You will push liquid inside your penis around, so this is easier if the penile tissue is very elastic.
- Erection level
There is a lot of erection level percentage thrown around in here. But the longer I think about it the more I have doubts. Basically we should talk about five erection levels and let your hands decide what level you actually have.
- Completely flaccid. No blood for jelqing available
- A little erect: some blood available
- Semi-erect: quite some blood around, but the penis is still well compressible with your fingers. It feels full but elastic.
- Quite erect: basically your penis is hard enough for penetration. Full of blood, quite resistant to compression.
- Fully erect: able to be used as hammer, rock-hard.
Jelqing does not work on completely flaccid and on fully erect penis. It is well understandable that semi-erect is the best erection level for jelqing because you have a lot of blood available but everything is still elastic enough. OK, maybe that’s exactly at 63,2846% - but how would one measure it :-)
- Grip force
My advice is to start with a low force if the OK-grip first and rather to concentrate in the feedback feeling you get in the fingers than to clamp as hard as possible when jelqing. For me, a perfect jelq is when I feel the blood circulating under my fingers during the movement. Again this is my individual opinion, not a general rule.
- Speed
A slow hand is better than a fast hand! When the jelqing is done too fast, you create pretty strong and spiky hydraulic waves in CC and CS. How can they stretch the surrounding tunica then? Stretching a tissue is done through gradual and slow increase of the stress, not punching it with quick impulses. So it is better to make long and slow jelqing movements. And this gives you more feedback from the fingers and the penis. It has to feel right, then it probably will be right.
- Quantity vs. quality
Last but not least, we are all obsessed with numbers for our routines. This and that number of jelqs or whatever we do. The longer I do PE, the more I focus in perfection in execution of an exercise much more than the number of repetitions I do. So my jelqing routines is more to be described in time units than in repetitions. I work with 5 minutes blocks and multiples of it. So my 5 minutes of jelqing should be read as 60 reps of slow 5sec jelqs. But I don’t care if I do 30 or 60 jelqs, I focus on doing 5 minutes of jelqing where every jelq feels like a “perfect jelq” to me.
- State of mind
I am not stealth with my PE. My Madame can come in and look or we even chat and joke while I am training. But not when it comes to the jelqing! I need absolute disturbance-free time and can’t speak or listen. I concentrate so much it’s like a bit to fall in a trance state of mind. My entire attention is directed to my hands, my dick and my respiration. I fully focus on creating a pattern of softly rolling waves of blood inside my penis, keeling eventually some blood in if required, looking at my unit and visualizing the blood expanding my CC, CS and the tunica while steadily breathing deep in a similar rhythm. This zen-attitude helps me to find the feeling for the perfect jelq.
All-right, a lot of words. But if they help you to find your own individual perfect jelq, I’ll be happy.
Wishing you good gains and always good EQ
