Am I going too fast

Am I going too fast

I’ve been looking into PE for a while now, probably since I was 15 or 16. I am now 21. In the past three or four years I’ve had little moments of PEing, but I never stuck to it for more than three weeks (and no gains in this short time). Now that I am single, I am getting serious about this. I’ve been pretty steady with an intensified newbie routine for about 3 weeks—I upped the intensity because I genuinely felt my penis could handle the longer stretches (60-90 seconds) and longer Jelq’s (20-30 minutes) and my past experiences with PE have got me more in tune with what’s a good fatigue and what’s a bad pain.

Anyways, I have just purchased a Bib Starter, this is my second day using it. But I’m reading on here that guys recommend sticking to the newbie routine until gains flat line or for at least 3 months? Problem is, I’ve never stuck to the newbie routine very long, and sometimes feel too lazy to get the most out of my newbie workouts. The question is, am I short cutting myself on gains by jumping right into hanging?

I think yes - you’ll never find a really proven answer anyway. You are too lazy for the newbie routine and you want to start hanging? This is something strange, hanging requires a lot of time and has a longer learning curve.

Let me explain that more thoroughly. By lazy I don’t mean that I don’t make time for the routines. But when doing the newbie routine, my wrists get fatigued during the pulling, I get really bored tugging at it, so I feel like I’m being lazy about the exercises, or not putting 100% effort into them. With weights, I feel like I could let them hang there, once I tweak them and figure out the right settings, and sit back and read a book or surf the web, just checking every once in a while that the glans aren’t blue. And Jelqing never felt so good than after a hanging session!

Marinera knows what he’s talking about. Hanging is a lot of work and theres a very long learning curve.

I probably missed some newbie gains by jumping into hanging early. If you do start hanging, I suggest you study extensively first on thunders. Also be sure to read Bibs forum (at least the “Basics” section)—there’s not an overwhelming amount there, so it wont be too hard to read most of it.

Start light, and work up gradually. Give yourself time to adjust to attachment point stress. For the first few weeks of hanging you wont gain anything—you’ll just be getting accustomed to the stresses of hanging.

If you do start hanging, be consistent… that’s the most critical thing. If you slack off too much, or take long breaks (like you did in the past), it will be completely counter-productive.
