Beginner Questions

I’ve just started on the beginners routine suggested on the site and I have a couple questions I would like to get answered if possible. The first is about the stretches, the plan says “5 minutes manual stretch (ten 30-second stretches)”. So I was wondering what exactly this meant? I looked at the examples given under “simple manual stretches” and a bunch of techniques are offered. My question is if I have to do all of these and if so am I supposed to do each one ten times for 30 seconds? Or is it a total of 10 30 second stretches between all techniques? I did the down up right left and then rotor stretches twice each for 30 seconds each so I don’t know if that is correct. Also I wanted to know if a 1 on 1 off 1 on schedule is OK or if the 2 on 1 off is better. Last question, I’m not sure if anyone has heard of this but I’m doing the NoFap challenge from reddit. Will this hurt my long term gains?

What you want is 10 30 seconds stretches using whatever technique or combination works best for you. Using the simple downward stretch should be fine for all your stretches but it’s worth experimenting with the other stretches just hit around 5 minutes of stretching. Also consider the BTC stretch and JAI stretches.

All the time you should be asking yourself whether you are doing the stretch in the most effective way and whether this particular stretch has a greater or lesser effect.

I realise that the Newbie Routine doesn’t lay out exactly what stretch to do when. In some ways that’s a negative for someone coming in fresh, in other ways it’s a positive because it encourages you to experiment early on to find what fits you.

That sounds good. How did it feel? Did any of the stretches seem to have a greater effect on you?

There’s an alternative routine called the Linear Newbie Routine that takes an easier approach if you find the 2:1 schedule hard but 2:1 is a good starting point. PE is hard work and you need to commit to gain.

Masturbation or lack of it should have no effect on your gains.

Alright thanks for the reply. Ill just stick to this for the three months and report back later.

Monitor what you are doing within that period. Within month 1 you should at least be feeling gains if not measuring them. By the end of month two should should definitely have measurable gains. If you don’t, you need to change things. Accurate measurements are essential. Take pics as well. They will come in useful when you start to question whether your penis had feature x before you started.
