Blood drops coming out of urethra while Jelquing

Blood drops coming out of urethra while Jelquing

I started my PE journey almost 4 weeks ago. My main tool right now is a Jes Extender which I wear 6 days a week, 6-8 hours a day. In second place I am doing some PE exercises, mainly stretches (10 mins) and Jelqs (200-300), 1 day ON 1 day OFF; finally I do some vacuum pumping twice a week (2 x 10 mins sessions at 6 in HG).

Well, last night after wearing my Jes Extender for 4 hours I decided to do 300 Jelqs and then put the stretcher again for 2 hours (which is something I have done couple of times before). But when I was finishing my 150th Jelq, blood start coming out of my urethra. I panicked so I stopped immediately. The weird part is that as soon as I stopped and cleaned my self the bleeding stopped. I think it was around 10 and 15 drops of blood and there was absolutely no pain involved. A couple of hours later I had sex with my wife and everything seemed normal, no more blood at all.

I am almost sure I burst a small vein inside of my penis. I do Jelqs between 40-80% hardness, and yesterday I was probably closer to the 80%. So I will appreciate if anyone else has had the same experience I had yesterday and if so would you recommend stop Jelqing for a couple of days or just do it again but closer to 40% hardness. Any comments would be appreciated.

For background information I always do 5 minutes warm water before all my Jelqing sessions, and 5 minutes after the session. I use a regular OK grip and go from base to about 1 cm from the gland (if I go all the way to the start of the gland it hurts a bit son I decided to let go 1 cm before, I am not sure if this does not alter my Jelqing results).

Initial Measurement (11-Sep-2006): BPEL: 13.8 cm, NBPEL: 12.7 cm, EG(Mid): 13.0 cm

Seems to me that you are doing too much, too soon. I’m not a pumper, but it sounds like fairly heavy pressure - someone else will enlighten us.

There are two main lines of thought here - one is that one needs to condition oneself to be able to take the PE routines. The other line of thought is that one should do as little as possible while still gaining. I subscribe to the second line of thought, that one should eke out as much as possible from a light routine before stepping it up. And it does sound to me like you might be overdoing things.

Taped onto the dashboard of a car at a junkyard, I once found the following: "Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement." The car was crashed.

Primary goal: To have an EQ above average (i.e. streetsmart, compassionate about life and happy) Secondary goal: to make an anagram of my signature denoting how I feel about my gains

Thanks for the quick reply mgus. Do you really think I am over training?

Compared to the exhaustive routines (2+ hours a day) some other members have, I feel mine is rather light (30 minutes a day, 1 day ON 1 day OFF). In short form on my days ON I do the following:
1) 5 Minutes warmup (in cup of water)
2) 5 minutes stretches (15 seconds each direction and repeat until 5 minutes elapse)
3) 15 minutes of Jelqing (300 Jelqs in this lapse of time)
4) 5 Minutes warmup

Like I said I only play with the pump 2 days a week maximum just to get used to it. According to the pump instructions I should be doing it everyday at 10 in HG which definitely sounds too much pressure for me. I try to keep it around 5 in HG (maximum 6 in HG). If I use less than 4 I hardly feel anything, so 5 are comfortable for me. I reach this pressure gradually in 1 to 3 minutes and then stay at that pressure for 10 minutes; then decompress in about 3 minutes. Take a 5 minutes break and repeat the process 1 more time, for a total of 20 minutes sustained at 5 to 6 in HG.

I might be overdoing things like you said mgus, and I appreciate your feedback. However the last time I pumped was on Friday night. Then Saturday I took the whole day off (no PE and no Extender). Sunday I wear my extender for 4 hours then do my PE exercises as usual and the bleeding started at the middle of my routine. I have to note that I was doing my Jelqs at 80%-85% erection, so I think this might be related. Maybe I did apply too much pressure to my OK grip? Or could the pumping I did on Friday actually caused this bleeding? Any pumpers out there, your feedback will be truly appreciated.

Thanks a lot for the link Thunder. I was looking for blood or bleeding on the search but could not find anything relevant. I guess blood and bleeding are words that are used a lot in this forum.

I think I will take 1 week rest of pumping, and 3 days rest for Jelqing. I would definitely reduce grip pressure on my OK grip and probably reduce my erection level (probably to 50%). I do not know if 300 Jelqs (15 minutes) are too much and if I should reduce to 200 Jelqs as suggested in the newbie routine and do the 5 minutes Kegels instead (I have not being doing any Kegels so far). I am almost 90% sure the 10 to 15 drops of blood are the result of too much pressure, but my doubt is if it is too much pressure from Jelqing or from pumping? So this week I will take it easy and focus on using my Extender mainly. Thanks for any suggestions.

I have had that very same problem, atleast 3 times since I started a year ago.

When we jelq the walls in the veins get thinner, sometimes leads to a small vein burst.

I used to stop for a week then resume my activities.

Hope this helps

Thanks vewdew. I will certainly consider taking a 1 week break of no pump and no jelqing (I will certainly still use my extender in this week, since I have most of my faith put in this tool to get me to my first inch gain). And if the bleeding happens again in the near future I will go to the doctor, but I get the feeling is nothing serious so far.

I am still unsure if 6 in HG in the pump are too high, considering on the posts I found in this forum most people use between 3 and 5 in HG, but in the pump manual it says to use 10 in HG.

I’m a total newbie myself, but your routine doesn’t sound light at all - from what I’ve read here it’s heaver that most of the long timers (pun intended) - you stated in the original “Jes Extender which I wear 6 days a week, 6-8 hours a day”.

6-8 hours sounds like way overkill. You have to give the tissue time to adjust, and heal, and 1/3 of the day every day just aint enough.

Of course, I haven’t even started yet, so I could be totally off base.

Well, if blood is coming out of the urethra, that is pretty much overkill per definition. Regardless of the actual workload.

There’s thin tissues towards the tip of the urethra (on the inside) and it’s relatively easy to overdo it and make it bleed. Don’t worry too much, but you really should wait a few days for it to heal, then start up again slowly and build up. Good luck.

Thanks a lot for the words of wisdom guys. I am definitely going to take it easier on my routine. I will probably eliminate pumping completely for the entire month of October, and will probably take a break from Jelqing this entire week. I do not want to give up on the Extender so I will keep using it since finally after 3 weeks I finally got used to wear it and right now I already became used to have it there.

You might be right with your comment of me doing an overkill PE routine, but I think you are wrong in regards to the usage of the Jes Extender. I plan on using the extender 40 to 50 hours a week, that is preferably 8 hours every day (from Monday to Friday) and then probably take Saturday and Sunday off or just do 4 hours on one of those days. For sure I want at least 1 day completely OFF every week. According to the manufacturer instructions you can wear it even 12 hours a day, but I found this inconvenient for me and a bit too extreme. 8 hours a day work perfect for me and I already made it part of my daily routine, and I have read on the forum some other guys who also use it for this frame of time every day. I think you did a wrong calculation of time, because it’s actually 2/3 rest and 1/3 usage, which does not sound that overkill to me. But then again I am a newbie and I could be wrong. Here’s a quick summary of how I got used to my Extender.

Week 1: 2 hours a day (minimum tension) - Was very uncomfortable to wear it
Week 2: 4 hours a day (minimum tension) - Still uncomfortable to wear
Week 3: 4 hours a day (medium tension) - Wearing is becoming more comfortable to I increase the tension
Week 4: 8 hours a day (medium tension) - Wearing it is becoming natural, I guess the skin of my penis where the silicone tube is getting harder and more resistant
Week 5: 8 hours a day (high tension/ medium tension) - Current week. I can use it at high tension for 1 hour then my penis stretches and tension drops to medium, so I leave it there for the rest of the interval

I do 2 hours intervals, 4 times a day as follows:

9 AM to 11 AM: ON
11 AM to 11:30 AM: Break
11:30 AM to 1:30 PM: ON
1:30 PM to 2:00 PM: Break
2:00 PM to 4:00 PM ON
4:00 PM to 6:00 PM: Break
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM: ON

Sometimes for some reason I get a bit of chafing on the sides of the extender so I take 5 minute break every 1 hour, but as I said the skin has become more resistant, plus I am using more accessories to make the usage of the extender as comfortable as possible.

RodXtender I’m eager to hear what your results are as they start to come in. I see you just started this September. I have only just started a week ago myself and am doing a very conventional newbie routine. I think it is somewhat unusual for you to be doing everything else rather conventionally but using an extender almost right from the beginning as a newbie. Please share the results when they are available, I am very curious about extenders and hanging myself; I really do not enjoy doing manual stretching

I will surely inform the forum of my first month gains next Wednesday. I do not want to measure in between months just to keep the expectation going. I know I have grew something because I can see the stretch marks on my dick, I am not sure how much. I will be happy with 2 or 3 mm gain, and crazy happy if I get more (even thought I am not expecting more). Wearing an extender as long as I know can be done by newbies. I took the whole week rest of my Jelqs newbie routine and will resume next week going very slowly. I decided to store away my pump and I will do pumping until the gains from the extender stops. So basically I will only rely on the Extender and on the newbie routine.

The newbie routine is a nice way to get involved in PE, does not consume a lot of time (30 mins a day) and gives awesome results. However I started using the extender even before I found out about Thunders, so now I do not want to quit on it’s usage. But I have to warn you that wearing an extender is not for the faint of heart. This gadget is like a torture machine and even now that I am used to it, the discomfort is still there. But I am a persistent type of guys and will wear this crap for 1000 hours at all costs.
