Clamping newbie

Hi guys I’ve been doing PE for 2 months now, and I just read a thread and I realized that the girth exercises are the best for me, so I tried clamping the most effective girth exercise that I know I did it with tie like Razielicek, couldn’t buy a cable clamp yet but I’ll, so here are my doubts. How long should I wait between clamp sets?? I know I need to make the blood flow. Am I supposed to keep a hard on during the 10 minutes set?? I noticed the tie doesn’t choke completely my unit so I can go 60% flaccid while clamping but my unit stays very veiny and I know 10 minutes it’s a base set but I think it isn’t enough for me I didn’t had any tingling, pain, numbness or darkening but I also didn’t notice it engorged after the 3 sets should I increase the time for 15 min sets?? Ill stick with the 10 minutes for couple weeks I know clamping is a heavy exercise and I need to get used to it before pushing forward. I hope don’t piss out any vets with my thread :P don’t want to be another newbie guy that makes vets explain all over again about clamping I read some threads but still missed some stuff, Thanks to all repliers.

Why are you clamping with only two months of training? I am genuinely interested.

Well I thought 2 months was enough to start clamping, and I read the TGC theory and I wanted to focus on girth because according to the theory and the signs if I focus on girth I’ll get more results also I guess I have conditioned my unit by using an extender for 4-6 hours a day along with PE newbie.

Most will say girth work comes last if you want to gain any length.

I think you have nice girth. If I would be you I would concentrate on lenght. My girth is my major problem but I am still doinganly lenght exercise. i used to clamp for a while but it seamed to toughten tunica very fast. So I got scared that lenght gains are impossible after months or years of clamping…


Start 20.4.2010: BPEL = 6.6 EG = 4.3 EGB = 4.8

Current: BPEL = 6.9 EG = 4.7 EGB = 4.9

Goal: BPEL = 7.5 EG = 5+

I’m just doing an experience the TGC theory says that in order for me to get length I have to work more girth like 60-70% and length 40-30% so that’s what I’m doing, at the moment I want more length and girth comes second but the normal method isn’t working for me I guess, I have to explore my body a few more

In my humble opinion, the best thing newbies can do is STOP READING THEORY articles. Sounds to me like you are over thinking.

Personally I do not think you have enough conditioning to clamp.

If I were you I would stick to the newbie routine. I would work for length first, then girth.
