Condoms Breaking

Help!! I break condoms, I am thick, and go for a while and when I c$% the condoms break. I currently use Magnums, but not so strong. Any one know of a good strong condom for thick men? I don’t want to catch anything or become a daddy again.

You may need to go up to XL Magnums.

You’re not using any oil-based lube by any chance, are you? Are you putting the condom on with an inch of space at the end?

You’ve got to help us diagnose the problem.

What happens when you have trouble fitting into pants and the seams start bursting at your crotch and under-ass?

If it’s that simple you do what I said, you go up a size.

If he can find Magnums, how hard is it to find XL Magnums?

Last I checked they were pretty close to one and other at the drugstore.

Magnums and XLs are like wearing a water hose, if you’re breaking those then you are doing something wrong.

To fix your problem I’d use a little lube on the inside of the condom as well as on the outside. Lube and condoms go hand and hand for me. You can find a really good,thin natural feeling lube so it doesn’t take away from the experience. Latex against dry skin causes condoms to break. Rough sex, even your partner going dry after a while. If you pound a girl long enough theres no way she’s going to remain as wet as she was in the beginning. I’d definately try a quality lube product.

My mid-shaft girth is around 5.5” (with a base girth around 5.75”). Magnums are fairly snug on me.

If you pull a condom on tight and leave no room at the end for ejaculate, the condom is likely to break. That’s often why they break, more so than being too big for them, or having a faulty condom. The other reason they break is people use oil-based lubes and latex becomes weakened when it contacts oil - even trace amounts of oil that have been wiped off.

If they are breaking when he comes, then I’d say he’s pulling them on too tight and not allowing room for the ejaculate.

If you don’t have proper lubrication (from the woman or elsewhere), high intensity friction can cause it to break. But that is not dependant on the use of lube inside the condom.

It’s not a bad suggestion to use extra lube (providing that it’s water based), it can’t hurt, but I doubt it’s the reason they’re breaking.

I’d bet it’s operator error.

For me at least, I haven’t found XLs. And I have been to a lot of porn stores. Most they have are magnums and durex xxl. Always wanted to try out Xls.

In every drugstore in NYC the XL Magnums are alongside the Magnums. You could always ask your drugstore to keep them in stock for you. I’d make sure to make that request with a particuarly cute cashier. :leftie:

I don’t think there’s much difference between Durex XXL and Trojan XL Magnums.

I’m pretty sure they both are for 6” base girth and above, but I could be wrong. I don’t remember.

There’s always ~ www.condomania.com; they have just about every condom known to man, as well as custom condoms (the TheyFit, brand).

Durex XXL are too long, I think. I believe they were like 9- 9 1/2” and it is a little narrower than the XLs.

The 9 1/2” length is so there is enough room for the vast majority of people - even those with monster length, to leave a half inch or so of space at the end.
