I feel like something is up with the way I PE because I read all these posts from people and I’m not really experiencing the same..

The main issue is jelqing. When I jelq, it’s basically as plain as can be. What I mean by that is, not much happens. When I’m done jelqing and the erection subsides, my penis looks the same as it did before the jelqing. I don’t “feel” much, and I don’t see much in terms of temporary enlargement or redness. Could it be my erection level? I jelq at about 70-80%, and when I do, I feel that I can’t compress my penis much. How much should you be able to squeeze when you’re at the right erection level?

I haven’t gotten any red dots or experienced any donut effect. I’m happy about this, but in a way it’s just another example of how I feel like PE is different for me. Maybe this is just how my body is? Anyone else out there have similar experiences and still get gains?

For how long and how much have you been jelqing? For me it always feels a bit rigid, ineffective and not very pliable at first. It almost feels like I’m just sliding on the shaft skin, but as I keep going the penis gets more relaxed, soft and much more pliable and it feels right.

Try to jelq at 60% erection level. If you aim for 60%, you can drop to 50 or increase to 70 and it’s not a problem.

How long are you taking for each “rep”? When I first started jelqing, I was trying to do them too fast and wasn’t getting the expansion in the head that I needed. Keep trying and focus on that swelling/ expansion.

I didn’t get anything out of jelqing for the first 2 months I did it. I read that it worked for everyone else and kept at it. One morning…BANG!…my dick swelled up like a balloon. I get a big swelling effect every time now.

The only exception is when I was unable to PE due to an extended vacation with the family. It took me two weeks of jelqing to get back to my earlier results.

Try kegeling during your jelq strokes. Also, try squeezing harder. The whole idea behind jelqing is to move blood forward through the penis. If you don’t squeeze hard enough, the blood will escape and the jelq stroke will have no effect.

Thanks for all the replies. I was jelqing for a few weeks but my consistency was a bit off. I tried to do 2 on/1 off but sometimes I would miss days. Erection level is an issue.how do I know the difference between 60% and 70%? In regards to the actual jelqing, I try to jelq fairly slow.

My grip is what worries me- I grip fairly hard but I am scared to grip any harder (especially after reading some stories in the injury section). Is there a way to tell if the blood is escaping? When I grip, it kinda just feels like I’m moving the skin up and down.

What does the head of your penis look like when you Jelq? It should be fully engorged and shiny. If it is, then your grip should be fine, if not then grip harder.

Where is the focus of your grip, on the top and bottom or on the sides? At first I was trying to squeeze off the entire circumference, but recently I started concentrating just on the sides and I am getting a much better Jelq, especially at lower erection levels. If I understand it right, too much pressure on the top/bottom can damage the dorsal nerve. Typical newbie time should be 2-3 seconds per Jelq stroke.

That’s how I always feel when starting to jelq again after a break, or if I miss some days.

For me it’s not technique that causes this but the state of my penis. It takes a couple of days for me to get into a state of “fatigue”. I’m not talking about feeling sore as in very slight pain but where my penis feels softer, more pliable, swollen or bloated during and after jelqing. The thing is, if you miss a couple of days or take a break you’ll have to build up to this fatigue state all over again, so once you get this fatigued state you need to keep at it by being consistent. That’s how it is for me anyway.

I’ve been reading all I can on jelq technique, and over the past 2 weeks I’ve been making minor adjustments based on my readings. I have a follow up question on a point made by SideBanger regarding griping on the sides. This is my jelq grip technique; I use a ‘strong ok’ grip meaning it’s tight and as I pull down I can see the glans expand/get shiny and feel blood moving during the pull. I maintain the grip of the first hand just under the glans with a lighter grip and start with the second hand at the base, pulling down slowly. Again, I can feel the blood moving and the shaft will bulge slightly in the space between the hands. My grip is ‘all around’ at all times.

I also try to focus the grip on the sides and as my hands get closer, I can feel the blood ‘escape’ along the bottom of my shaft.

My question; Should I use the side pressure grip and allow the blood to escape as this is lowering the pressure? Or should I maintain the ‘strong ok’ grip and continue to push the hands together? Is allowing the blood to escape easily a good action? Is my ‘strong ok’ grip too tight, or is that a better technique?

I am getting a fluid buildup in the tissue on the underside of the shaft, just back from the glans at the very end of the sessions and that is when I stop. The fluid drains in about 2 hours, so I have not been concerned.

WorktoWin, you are doing the right thing by reading all you can on jelq technique and making minor adjustments. There is no one best way; jelqing, more than any other form of PE is all about feel. You tend to instinctively know when you have got it right, and even then you will make minor adjustments for many months as you begin to ‘master’ jelqing. True skill comes from repetition and experimentation!

Oh yea one more thing- when I do kegels while jelqing, I find I actually start to LOSE my erection. I think it may be from the muscle tiring out, but after a few kegels I start to droop. Isn’t this the opposite of what is supposed to happen?

The kegel isn’t really to keep the erection as such, more to pump some more blood into the penis to be pushed up by the next jelq stroke. Kegel, immediately tighten the hand at the bottom of the penis to keep the kegeled blood in, then push it up the penis.
