I measured myself last night and I came to find out I haven’t made any progress. I just measured length. I started PE’ing in November last year, but I wasn’t taking it seriously until the beginning of this year. I planned to measure myself at the end of april, but I was playing with myself and the ruler was right there, so I said, “hey, why not?” It’s a bit discouraging to say the least because I’ve been putting in a lot of work and no noticeably gains are to be seen :/. I’ve been doing 6 days out of the week for the past 2 weeks because I thought I wasn’t doing it right with a 2 on 1 off routine, and I figured it’d be good to try it out and see if there was a difference. I think my flaccid is a bit longer now, but my foreskin seem to a bit looser, so maybe that’s why it looks longer? I also have red spots on the head of my unit, so I don’t know if that’s a good thing? Or a sign of progress.. I don’t know if I should continue with a continuous routine like I’ve been doing for the past two weeks or return to 2on 1 off.

My routine question is; is there a difference by switching the jelqs and stretches? I want to jelq first and then stretch to see if I my erections subside, but I don’t know if there’s a downside to this. Is there?

Oh yea, I’m at 5.5”(same size as when I started) erect and around 3.5-4” flaccid. I think I was around just 3 when I first started jelqing. Sorry, I usually browse this site on really quickly, so I can’t get acquainted with the terminology.

Red spots on your glans aren’t a good sign at ll. Too much force on jelqs probably. 6 days on is a too high frequence. You should monitor your BPFSL and girth (at least at 2 points).

Doing jelq before than stretches is ok. I’d say lighten up on force and stay on a 2 on/1 off for jelqs, 4-5 days per week on stretches.

The commonly accepted belief is that jelqs are for gaining length AND girth. Whereas, stretches are for length mainly. However some on this forum have attributed girth gains to stretching only, but I think that jelqing is a better girth exercise. There is no downside the jelqing the stretching. Many person do this. However, be careful that your glans is not still too engorged with blood before you stretch, especially if you use any equipment for stretching, as it can put too much pressure on the glans and cause you to burst capillaries. How do you know how much pressure is too much? If you suspect that it is, it probably is.

Firstly, don’t be discouraged by the results so far, PE can still work for you. You admittedly haven’t been seriously doing it for very long. PE does take a lot of consistency, so if you haven’t been consistent don’t be surprised at the results. I used to do PE sporadically and then I got disappointed with the results too. Since I’ve started taking PE more seriously and be disciplined and consistent I have made significant gains.

Now as for your routine, do as much as you can do while at the same time trying to maintain good EQ (erection quality). This is different for everybody. Some do 2 days on 1 off, some do every other day, some do everyday, It all depends you your particular dick. Personally, I’ve learned when my dick needs rest (by poor EQ) and I just rest or go light until my EQ returns to normal. This is what decides my schedule, not any predefined days on or off. I just do as much as I reasonably can.

Red spots are not a good sign. It probably means that you have put too much pressure on your unit. It’s no cause for alarm though, it should go away after a day or two of rest.

Search the forum for a thread by sparkyx about the PIs (physiological indicators) that you should be aware when practising PE. Overdoing it is never good, and doesn’t help - and even causes regressopm in some peoples’ opinions. But it’s not merely about quantity. It’s about the quality of the exercises. Find detailed instructions and videos in the PE Manual, right here on TP, that will show you how to do the exercises properly.

Document your routine, so that whenever you ask for help here, you can say specifically what you’ve tried and how.

For me, browsing this site is an essential part of the discipline of PE. It has all the information you need to know. Almost any question you can think of has already been answered. You can talk to the veterans who have years of experience. And you can get acquainted with the theories and the terminology, which makes it easier to ask for specific help. And even more, it helps you to be totally immersed in it and give you motivation.

Step one: Through diligence, mad skillz, or just dump luck; find large, super secret community of academics and fringe, body modification researchers with >10 dense data years.

Step two: Enroll and undertake a course of study coinciding with said academics and researchers intersect of foci.

Step three: Upon encountering difficulties in your beginning studies present your silibus and routine to to community of researchers that you are now a member of.

Not, Step three: Upon encountering difficulties in your beginning studies decide to take it back to the stone age of PE and attempt some random craziness, not telling your fellows until after you had started!:smack:



Trust me on this, the old timers of PE spent many (cumulative) sleepless nights wondering if the (not good) changes their penis had incurred were reversible; or: if in fact; they had broken their little pet primate for all time. :'
