Does Girth or Length come quicker?

I did a quick search but couldn’t find this question already posted.

With just the basic newbie routine, and maybe with increased time added after a few months, which dimension gains quicker, girth or length?

I appreciate this could be either, none, or both depending on the individual, but was just wondering what others’ think.


Starting stats: 6" BPEL/5" EG

First Goal: 7" BPEL/5.5-6" EG

Other goals: Increased sensitivity

Length comes quicker, much quicker whereas girth is a long, hard slog just to get millimetres in gains over very long periods of time.

That’s for the majority and you do get the odd exception to the rule but expect noticeable length gains fairly early on.

That would be me. I’ve always found girth easy and quick,and length very slow to impossible. In fact I’ve about decided that some guys just can’t gain erect length at all.

Varies from guy to guy. For me I gained length with very little girth for about 8 months, then the length gains plateaued and I started gaining girth more easily than length.

I think more guys probably do experience length gains before girth but no one can predict what your experience will be.

There’s not really much to gaining length. Stretch or hang and it’s pretty hard to overdo it doing either of those. Girth training is more rial and error. Some are lucky to get the recipe down pretty quickly but for most it is lengthy trial and error to find the correct combination of exercises and rest.

I read when i first found PE that length comes faster than girth, but for me personally I can’t gain length it seems but girth is no problem

Goal: 7 MSEG

Even I just focus for length I gained girth much than length.


Begining At 11.05.09: El 6.0" Eg 4.92"

Short Term Goal : El 6.5" Eg 5.2"

Long Term Goal : El 7.5" Eg 6.0"

It seems from everybodies posts that it is based on individual factors then.

My theory is that if you start with low EQ, girth gains will come quick with the increased EQ from jelqing. Once EQ is high, then girth will be super difficult and you will only gain more by decreasing EQ with length exercises then doing more girth work to increase EQ again.

If I were to start over again, I wouldn’t have focused so much on girth to start like I did. Instead I would have done more length exercises even though I wasn’t interested in getting more length.

Hmm now I am confused, what are the girth and length exercises? I’ve started stretching and jelqing with the newb routine, I just presumed they increased length and girth..?

You are right. After 2 months of doing newbie routine (and getting hang of it) and your unit will be much stronger and you can target harder exercises. But do these excercises AFTER minimum 2 months of newbie routine.

This would fit my case. I started off with high EQ and pretty big girth (5.5”). My girth hasn’t changed even 1mm, but I’ve seen pretty good length increases.

I haven’t gained much length but it seems like have gained some girth. Last time I measures my base firth was 6.1 inch which is a good gain. This must be because pumped with the bathmate Goliath, the cylinder is so wide that maybe it didn’t do much on my length gains.

For the vast majority of guys with a health penis, length is way easier than girth.

Start out with a penis that has poor health and circulation? You might see some impressive girth gains in the first few months as it becomes more vascular. So perhaps you “gain” a 1/4” on both length and girth.
While .25”s in length is nice; the same amount gained in girth is just nasty.:flame:

All of my gains were hard won. But starting out a bit chubby and getting some girth gains from hanging and I never had to work much at that part of PE.
