Fat Pads, I don't get it

I’m a bodybuilder with below average fat so obviously I don’t have much of a fat pad, but when I was bulking, my bodyfat % went probably 7-8% above normal, and I still didn’t have THAT much of a fat pad.

Are people just born with fat pads? How significant does it affect your penis size? Can somebody tell me how big their fat pad is in relation to how fat they are?

When I was around 15% body fat and 200lbs, my fat pad was like 3/4”. Right now I’m ~10% and ~180lbs and the fat pad is less then 1/4”.

I have gained roughly 35lbs since 1998, give or take 5lbs. Most of the weight is fat concentrated in my mid-section and thighs.

My Fat pad has increased by 1”

Is this significant? HELL YES…LOSING 1 INCH OF PENIS!

Now I’m off to Golds Gym. If they can test my body fat I will post the results tomorrow.

Tug and stretch for a year for 1” …or lose the fat pad and get the 1” I lost! How about I do both!

I was puzzled by that for a long time at first as well. “WTF?” They are all talking about some fat pad like it is a big deal. So I played around with BP and NBP and found that I could get a difference of less than 1/2” by drawing blood with the ruler. What the hell is the big deal? I finally asked.

Some guys, even at a low body fat, will have a noticeable pooch. We have had lots of guys post about getting down around 10% and still having more of a fat pad than either of us will ever see. The luck of the draw on genetics on this one. From an appearance point of view a 2” fat pad means your pecker is 2”s smaller. From a using it point of view the fat will squish and some of that buried 2”s will go in.

It took me a long time to “get” the whole fat pad thing. I understood that really overweight guys often had no visible penises; that fat guys would have a fat pad of many inches. I didn’t understand that most healthy/in-shape guys normally have a bit more of a pad than I do as well.

Of course it’s all about where the fat is in my case, below my knees and at my ribcage and up I have very little fat, but thighs, to pelvis to abs I’ve got significant fat. Going to be working to get it down, in case anybody has any suggestions to tone the pelvic region? My plan was just generally better shape and tone the abs.

Dieting will definitely play a big roll in losing that fat.

When I weighed 330 pounds my fat pad was over three inches thick. My flaccid was completely retracted. I remember my doctor had to literally push her fingers into the fat in order to dig my turtled dick out far enough to examine it. Now at 195 I have less than an inch of fat covering the pubic bone and my dick is too fat to turtle inside that, but it still tries on a cold day.

I’m 5’6”, 195lbs this morning. I started out at 230lbs. Right now, my fat pad is 1 inch. Needless to say, loosing weight is major part of my PE endeavors. I just wonder how much I have to loose before the fat pad subsides. I have lost weight before, and I know that the belly and the fat pad will be the last to go.

How tall are you?

So when you talk about fat pad you mean the fat that is covering the pubic bone ? How do you measure this ?

We have detailed explinations all over the place. I did a quick search and didn’t find one!;) The two above will get you going in the right direction. You are not measuring the fat pad per say. You are measuring your willie both with, and without, pushing the ruler into the fat pad. As an asside, your fat pad depth is the difference between the two numbers.

Place a ruler so that it is lying flat along the entire top surface of your penis and both are at a 90 degree angle to your body. With the base of the ruler just lightly touching the skin just above your penis take a measurement. That is you NBP. Now push the ruler into your body untill it beginns to grate against bone. Measure again for you BP.

You are right. On men the middle is the last fat to go, on women it is the hips and butt. When people start loosing weight the first place to thin down is the face and neck and shoulders. Women loose breast fat pretty quick. Then unfortunately as the weight loss is working its way down your body, nature plays one of her little jokes and bypasses the central trunk of the body. The next thing to trim up is the legs and thighs, especially if you are doing a lot of cardio. I lost most of the 130 pounds power walking and swimming. But trust me when I say, the belly and fat pad are the very last place on a man to thin down.

I’m 5’10” 195 pounds 53 years old. I power-walk 8 miles and swim laps every day and still have a considerable fat-pad.

Well, I supposed it was something like this from what I have been reading here and there. I have read the first link before I start (I am following the instructions as closely as I can when it comes to advise on PE, since I am totally new and when I saw START HERE on the link, I read it all :P) but fat pad didn’t really mean something to me. I now know why, because even if I press the ruler it won’t go in for more than 0.8 cm.

Also now that I think of it 1+ inches fat pad ? WOW ! (no offence,really, it is rather a surprised reaction because I have seen people talking about fat pads raging from an inch to 2.5 inches and I always thought that they were talking about some different area, because my fat pad is really low (small?)).

I just took some measurements and i have a pad of .75”, and I’m in the worst shape of my life. I’d say I’m about 15 to 20lbs. off my ideal weight and my pad is .75”.
