Hi all. I am new to PE as I found this forum only a few days ago. I am 55, and have always been very self-conscious about the size of my unit, especially when flaccid. Until now, I had always thought there was nothing that I could do about it, so tried to make the best use of what I had. After finding this forum and doing some reading, I decided to try it out, and started a routine very similar to the newbie one listed here last Friday (12/26). Mine is as follows.

10 minutes warm up with heating pad and wet wash cloth
10 minutes stretching, 30 second stretches left, straight up, right, straight down, straight out
100 Jelqs
5 minute warm down
50 kegels, 25 hard as I can for 5 seconds, 25 hard as I can for 20 seconds with 5 second breaks.

I am not sure I am doing Jelqs correctly as I have pretty small penis (BPEL - 5”, Flaccid length - 3.5”). I am using one hand to prevent my foreskin and fat pad from interfering with the stroke of the other hand. This seems to allow the compression of the blood better. I am also not sure I have the correct level of erection as I am not allowing full engorgement. However, we will see how things go in the coming month. I have not mentioned anything about it to my wife, it will be interesting to see how long it takes her to notice any changes (assuming it works as planned).

I am also encouraged at the number of others who are my size and improved. This forum seems to be a great group of supportive guys regarding a problem I suspect many of us feel frustration about.

Hey there. Are you using lubricant? I recommend you use petroleum jelly, and a considerable amount. That way, you can apply pressure to the inside of your penis, while the skin will slide through your fingertips and recoil back to your pelvis due to its natural elastic nature. The routine sounds like a solid one to me, however you might want to increase your jelqs now. 100 jelqs is about 5 minutes of jelq time if you are doing 3 second strokes. You can safely increase that if you wish.

Also, that’s good for not telling the wife. I hope you stick with this and reap some gains, and have some good stories for us in the future :wave: .

I think your routine is good enough. For now, you should concentrate on the jelq technique until you master it. Try to jelq at low erection level for now, not totally flaccid but not very hard. So, take it easy and learn to do it the right way.
I don’t know if you know this, but there is a video collection here that describes all of the exercises you’ll ever need. Watch them to learn how to jelq if you already didn’t. Here are the videos.

Hi Wt282. I use baby oil for lubricant, but still find the skin does not slide very well. It seems to just roll up ahead of the OK grip and then getting the OK grip with the second hand is quite difficult. So I put two fingers of the other hand on either side of my shaft to aide with the skin sliding. The reason I stopped at 100 jelqs is because even at 100, I’m well over 10 minutes elapsed time. I didn’t want to over do it, as I read many times that less is more, but as I get better with jelqing, I will increase the reps.

Hi Pegain. I did see the videos and watched them a few times before starting the routine.

I will report back as I progress, am keeping a journal of sorts currently.
