Height distribution charts I’ve seen(for the U.S) usually have 6’2 at about the 97 percentile, which is approximately where I’ve seen 6 inches girth to be situated(actually about 98 percentile).

I’d say 6 inches girth is as common as men that are 6 foot 2 and a half.

What one says about one own’s dick doesn’t really count in situations like this, since we all live with our dicks every day. For someone who has 6.25+ girth, 6” would “feel small”. For someone who’s packing a 4.5” girth 6” would “feel big”. For me, 6” girth would definitely feel big, just because it’s a size I’ve never attained except down at the base of my dick. If my girth would suddely drop from what I have now down to 5”, I would definitely feel small because of my own reference level.

Statistically, as a group, we can say that it is significantly above average. Furthermore, since it is above average, statistics show that it’s not a common girth size to have. Otherwise, everyone would pack a 6” MSEG :) . That’s pretty much all we can say for certain.

Really big guys will mostly downplay a 6” girth. Smaller guys will mostly raise a 6” girth as huge. I don’t think we’ll get much further than that :) .

I seem to recall that the 97th percentile for US men’s height is more like a little over 6’3”, but yeah, that’s probably about as good of a serious answer to this question as is possible. Tall men find it hard to believe that only about 1 in 4 American men is 6 feet tall, just as many big-dicked men (at least at Thunder’s Place) can’t believe that big cocks are uncommon.

And, of course, on the Internet, 6’3” is around the 50th percentile for men’s heights ;)

To each their own on personal perceptions I guess right? I on the other hand think a bigger girth makes a penis look more impressive than length. For me, EVERY ”little” girth increase is VERY noticeable. With length it can take an INCH OR MORE before a gain is really noticeable to the eye. I’d give up an inch of length any day to be 1/2” bigger in girth instantly.

As for the OP’s question, 6" will appear different to different people. I’ve lived with a near-6" girth for years now and I never consider it big but that’s probably just from living with it (and having serious BDD which I guess is rampant in PE). I think I never see my dick as big because I always see it in relation to my own body which, at 6’4" and about 200 fairly muscular lbs, is kind of big. Intellectually I know that I’m big compared to averages and when compared to every-day objects I compare favorably (see here for example: ebon00: comparison pic) but from my perspective I don’t see it. But a petite woman might think that 6" girth is beyond belief.
