This is normal.
When you do a Kegel, blood is drawn into the BC muscle so it can flex. This does tend to draw blood flow away from your erection.
Once you have a more toned BC muscle, your erections will become firmer and this draw will have a less pronounced effect on your hard-on.
How is your overall aerobic function? Do you exercise? Do you get easily winded? Do you smoke? What?
It’s all connected. Kegeling will certainly help, but it can only do so much on its own. Regular exercise should be an integral part of PE if you really want to get the most out of your dick.
After all it’s all about blood flow…

kaan is quite correct on this point. It’s actually a very good idea to at least on set of 50 every day when you are flaccid. I do mine on the subway while I’m commuting. You can actually do them throughout the whenever you have down time as this type of muscle doesn’t need the same sort of recovery time that your biceps and quads, etc. need.
This is what is meant in the newbie routine, by the way. 50 Kegels in a flaccid state.

This part of your doctoral theory kaan? If I believe eating chocolate bunnies will improve my erection will it be so?
