How to perform the kegels

I’m really new to all of this.

Hi, welcome to the forum and success in your PE journey.

A kegel is an exercise that will enhance various things in your sexual life. A kegel will train the BC muscle, a muscle just behind the penis. By daily performing kegels, the person can, for instance, expect harder erections and more sexual stamina. Also a good trained BC muscle is an important step in becoming multi orgasmic.

You perform the kegel by training the BC muscle. When you take a piss, stop the radiate. This is how you should do a kegel. The muscles who stop the radiate are the BC muscles. It isn’t necessary to take a piss when performing a kegel, it is just the easiest way to find out how to perform one.

Bird2, what do you think - is there some difference between performing, for example 200 kegels in one set, or splitting them in few sets?

When you go to the gym to bench press, you won’t do one set of 50. You would choose to do five sets of ten, maybe even from different angles.

The same goes for kegels. Sure, kegels aren’t near as intense as bench pressing is but doing 200 in a row is a little much. I did it before and it didn’t made me nearly as hard as this routine. Also gives splitting them up the choice of doing them any time you want. When you wait in line, sit in a bus or visit thunders, it is easy to do this routine. Splitting it up is a good choice, and doing this routine is ideal in my opinion.

While you pee (urinate), stop it by flexing the muscle between your ball and anus. That’s kegel.

Hi guys, I don’t know if anyone can relate to this but when I perform kegals it feels really odd to me. Because it’s an internal muscle it kind of makes me feel anxious. I have tried to regulate my breathing while doing it but it still feels strange, it also feels as though I will end up with a mean sphincter because all those muscles flex together.

Also, how much exersion should we be applying ? Just a gentle flex or as much power as you can manage ?

One more thing, when looking at the newbie routines some say 1 day on & 2 days rest and some say 2 days on & 1 day rest but it doesn’t mention how many kegals to do when using the 1 on, 2 off routine.

Squeeze as hard as you can is the ultimate goal but starting a little lighter looks wise to me.

The routine I posted in this routine is adequate for newbies, start with 3 weeks of 3x20 short kegels, after those 3 weeks add 2x10 long kegels. Do this daily.

I have heard that kegels are one of the best ways to begin strengthening your muscles around your penis. Look on the tutorial page to learn how to do them. You can also type it into the search bar.

What about rest days ? I’ve read alot about making sure we have rest days - like you would working any muscle.

Hi bird, -

I do kegels while hanging 15 pounds straight up or straight out. I can go up to 200 pounds on the bench press but I am prouder on my pc which lifts 15 pounds for about half an inch.

If you or others want to try this, I suggest to use a ball-bearing pulley otherwise you won’t see the weights move up and down while you kegel - which is great fun *s*

The muscles you train while performing kegels are the fastest recovering muscles in your body. The most likely reason behind it is that they play a vital role in the replication value of a male. The BC muscle doesn’t need rest days, doing this routine and leaving a night of sleep in between is enough for full recovery.

I don’t do hanging. Never saw the need, never will.

Once you toughen that puppy up you can do freaky amounts of kegals. It is a zero time invested exorcise though because you can multi task with it. Watching TV, standing in line at the bank, whatever. I do them while driving all the time.

imaru, wouldn’t you just end up doing half-assed kegels? I mean by not contracting enough?

I hope I don’t get laughed at but I always wondered when you say squeeze do you mean with your hand or the muscle itself? Lol

The muscle itself, I wonder how you want to squeeze internal muscles with your hand?
