How to size cylinder when girth tapers?

How to size cylinder when girth tapers?

LeLuv’s chart says to use the largest measurement for sizing which for me is the base.

The base girth is about 6.2 inches and the midway girth is about 5.7 inches erect.

According to LeLuv:
2.125 fits at most 5.9 inches (I own this but stopped using it several months ago but it still is comfortable)
2.250 fits at most 6.3 inches (I use this one currently but the base girth of 6.2 is kind of close to the max allowed)
2.500 fits at most 7.1 inches (I don’t own this but have thought about buying and trying)

I plan to try "dynamic pumping" exclusively using a homemade contraption that allows me to switch between two electric pumps using valves and a tee to prevent overheating. I hope the sessions might last 30-60 minutes and give a better workout and gains. I plan to pump to around 45 kpa (13 inhg) and immediately release and repeat.

Probably the pumps would prefer that I use the 2.125 cylinder so they won’t need to work as hard. On the other hand, I don’t want to limit whatever gains are possible by using the wrong size.

Any thoughts?

Personally? I’ve never had multiple sizes, and I am not a doctor, and so on. However, I’ve always understood that if you’re packing the base it simply aids in expansion farther down the tube, either length or girth on the part that isn’t packed. For what it’s worth, I have the 2.25, and if circumference is pi*diameter it should be over 7".

Anyway, I’d use the 2.25 unless you can comfortably fit into the 2.125.

That makes sense to me. I feel like the 2.250 is the moderate/Goldilocks choice which is probably best when I don’t know what I’m doing. Probably I will switch back and forth a little at first to see if it makes much difference. I suppose with less volume in the 2.125 cylinder the pumps might be able to give more repitions before the donut develops, but each repition will be shorter in duration.

I would like to gain some girth - particularly midway and towards the end. I think the 2.250 might be better for girth. Length would be great too, but it seems like length gains have been even more difficult than girth gains. Neither type of gain has been fast.

If you get one just a little too large for the base girth then you can also get a silicone ring for the base that creates a smaller but flexible opening. This way you can size up a bit and not worry too much about getting it perfect. I use one for my 2.25" cylinder, mostly to keep my scrotum from getting pulled in, even though my base girth is larger than my midshaft and the tube fits fine without the silicone ring, especially after the first 5 minute set.

Like I said, it makes the issue of getting a cylinder that is slight too large at the base less of an issue, so less pressure to size it exactly right.

It also makes the pressure against your pelvis a little more comfortable at higher vacuum than the bare cylinder alone.

There are a lot of options on eBay in case you want to consider it. This is the one I landed on after trying a couple of different ones:

The last wide flange cylinder I ordered from LeLuv had a slight misalignment where the flange joined the cylinder. I spent many hours sanding away the misalignment and buffing away the scratches to make it smooth. I was afraid that it would be abrasive to my skin.

Also there were sharp changes in contour of the flange that I sanded away in an effort to make it more comfortable. I think they changed their vendor for the wide flange cylinders, because my older cylinder didn’t have those problems.

The silicone ring might have eliminated the need for all that work - especially if I bought a slightly oversized cylinder.
