I came across an interesting product

Hello friends, i wanted to maybe start a debate/ get an opinion from someone who tried it. i came across this magnetic ring you can put on your toe, and supposedly it’ll help you reduce your weight (yeah right..). Now whats interesting about it, is that the seller claims it emits around 1100 Gauss of magnetic force on the toe, or in his own words:

“Wear the rings on the 2 big toes. Make sure that the magnets are positioned beneath the toe and in the middle. You can go about your daily routine while the rings work at slimming you down. The secret lies in the 2 pieces of magnets which can emit 1,100 Gauss’s magnetic force to stimulate the acupuncture points. This will activate those areas which are normally not in use while walking, and also helps to improve sagging muscles. Washable with lukewarm water and mild detergent.”

Now, i realize it might be bullshit for weight loss, but maybe it’ll be possible to wear it as an ADS weight rings and see what happens? you guys have any thought about this?

There are all sorts of magnetic products on the market for all sorts of medical issues and I don’t believe in any of them including the one you describe.

If you want to lose weight then eat less and exercise more.

As far as ADS? I don’t get it, but the results from normal ADS vs magnetic ADS will be the same. So just forget about the magnets.

Hey gprent, thanks for the reply. I think you misunderstood me, I agree with you on the weight loss aspect (also I’m pretty skinny so I’m not looking for it). Regarding the ADS aspect it might be really good, cause it fairly easy to put on - it’s just a silicone ring with a magnet. I was just wondering if something like that might actually work as an ADS.

I said a magnetic ADS will work. Exactly the same as a regular ADS. So might as well not use the magnets.
