I think it has to do with gravity and blood pooling. Here’s something I experimented with:
Degree of stretching and flaccid size:
1. If I’m lying on my bed on my back, my flaccid gets smaller but I find it’s easy to stretch.
2. If I’m doing like a push-up or bend over and try to stretch, I’m a bit more plump but it’s a lot more difficult to stretch.
3. If I’m sitting on a chair, I’m even more plump and yet, it’s easy to stretch.
4. If I’m standing up both plump and stretchability values fall in between conditions 1-3.
I also find I’m a bit bigger while sitting vs standing.
I’m guessing it’s a gravity (blood pooling) effect?
1. When sitting blood from upper body can easily pool in the groin area because of the pelvic position. This may explain larger flaccid while sitting (maximal blood pooling).
2. When I’m lying on my back on my bed, blood drains out of my unit so flaccid and erect size is its smallest size (a little more blood drains than pools).
3. If I’m standing up, flaccid/erect size falls in the mid-value (some blood pools but some is allowed to drain to lower extremities).
Does any of this ring true for other guys?
