Not necessarily, especially if you are new to PE. Small breaks in the beginning actually helps in larger gains when you resume. Eventually this stops being effective and you’ll need to maintain some sort of regular routine.


Starting stats: 7.5" BPEL x 6.2" MEG

I took a 2 week break in my second month from over training and had some of my best gains ever immediately after.

A 2 week break won’t do any harm at all. I take a couple of weeks off every 6 to 8 weeks.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Great glad to hear I jelqed for 2 months and I think I over worked my penis I have hard time getting hard and its been almost 2 weeks I stopped and my penis is doing better again. So hopefully I get some of these good gains.

Once you reach your goals though, what’s the best way to cement your gains if you don’t plan on ever getting gains again?


start stats :7.7x5.8 (2014-06-02 ) / Short term goal : 8x6 (achieved on 2014-06-14 and 2014-04-23 respectively)

Mid term goal : 8.5x6.5 (achieved on 2020-06-21 after 6 years break.)

Long term goal : 9x7

Taper off your routine, jelq once a week for a few minutes and make sure you get a fully hard erection at least every other day.

Thanks. The good thing is this will force me to do kegels until I die. I found it really hard to do kegels in a constant manner before starting p.e.
