In a nutshell what's is LOT

Guys I’ve tried to read the LOT part but didn’t get the point, anyone can explain to me in simple terms. I am foreigner, sorry for the stupid question!

I was asked this before in my pic thread and I was never really sure, since I didn’t give it much thought, so I gave a half-assed guess what mine was. I THINK it’s erection angle. Supposedly higher angled ones gain better stretching downward and lower angled ones gain better stretching upwards.

Don't believe me though because this is just a guess on it. I've never read through the thread, just by observing people saying this is what they have and what direction they are stretching, I've took a guess on it.

How about you read all the other posts on LOT theory? LOT, IMO, is bullshit :) Have a nice day :)

LOT being Loss of Tug-back basically means when you grab your flaccid dick by the head, pull it tight and straight up (12 o’clock) and then squeeze your PC muscle (the same one you use to cut off the flow when you pee) your dick will pull back against your grip. Gradually lower the angle you are gripping / pulling down to 11,10,9,8,7 and finally 6 o’clock (nine o’clock being straight out and six o’clock being straight down). As you reduce the angle and flex your PC at some point your dick will stop resisting (pulling back). When it stops resisting this is your own personal angle of LOT (mine happens at about 7-8).

The theory is the lower the angle that LOT kicks in, the more your ligaments can potentially be stretched and the more, theoretically, you can lengthen by stretching, jelqing and hanging.

Not sure it works; but that is what it means.

The way Bib said it, higher LOTs (not lower) mean more potential growth from lig stretching alone. LOT was never intended as a way of gauging tunica gains, only lig gains.

My personal belief, after studying the matter in great detail, is that all gains are tunica gains, so LOT is really an irrelevant concept as far as gains or potential gains are concerned.

Honestly, I won’t discount anything that can’t be disproven. I think there’s something behind the LOT theory and it’s applicable to everyone in some fashion. There’s a reason why some of us have LOTs of 6 while others have 9 or 11. This could be beneficial in how we attack our exercises.

My LOT is 6. Despite having minimal gains in the first two months doing the newbie routine, I’ve gained 1/4 inch since the past month using an extender mainly at the 6 o’clock position, along with a ton of fowfers and occasional jelqs and stretches.


Starting: BPEL 6.125 (15.55 cm) / EG 4.75 (12.07 cm) / NBPFL 2.750 (6.99 cm)

Current: BPEL 7.000 (17.8 cm) / EG 4.75 (12.07 cm) / NBPFL 3.750 (9.52 cm) Goal: BPEL 7.0 / EG 5.0

If your LOT is 6, LOT Theory would predict you have very little gain potential from hanging at low angles. Yet, you’ve managed to gain 1/4” in a short time by stretching at 6 o’clock. Your experience runs contrary to the theory.

Indeed LOT does say something about a person’s anatomy—mainly the configuration of ligament attachment points near the pubic bone. But, what it says is not meaningful from the viewpoint of gains, I believe, since gains result not from ligament configuration but from elongation of the shaft.

Exactly. I honestly believe there’s something to the LOT theory, but haven’t been able to pinpoint exactly what it is. With all of the fowfers I’ve done in the past month, as well, this seems to buck the LOT theory in the opposite direction, at least in my case. Maybe our LOT number provides the least resistance to gaining?

LOT IMO is too many people with too much time and spunk on their hands trying to come up with the holy grail of PE, IMO.
