Insecure about girth

Have read other descriptions of Lifestyle study that indicate the ruler was lightly pressed into pubic bone. The reporter had interviewed someone at lifestyle for the story.

I’ve posted it somewhere on thunders, if I find it I will link it.

Started:BPEL=5.0" x MEG=4.6 .(actually I was between 4.9 and 5 so I went with 5)

Now:BPEL= 6.3 x MEG=4.8 .. :) Final goal = 7.0 BPEL x 5.2 MEG.

I can’t decide if you’re in on the joke or part of it.

In 2005, Lifestyles Condom Co. released the results of its own more extensive and (hopefully more accurate) study: they found the average length of an erect penis to be only 5.877 inches with most men falling in the 5.1 to 6.2 inch range. This time, measurements were taken by nurses from the point where the penis meets the body (at the pubic bone). The study also found that the average erect penis had a girth of 4.972 inches, with three quarters of dudes measuring between 4.5 and 5.5 inches around.

So, if the average length found by lifestyles was about 5.9 inches BPEL, and the average girth found by lifestyles was about 4.9 inches, then that means I’m pretty much exactly average, because I am 6.3 inches BPEL, and 4.5 inches in girth. I am 0.4 inches above the lifestyles length (BPEL) average, and 0.4 inches below the lifestyles girth average. It balances out exactly, so I guess I’m exactly average, right?

Yes you are correct.

The median size figure is interesting too. 5.65 x 4.67. That is the typical penis size. See explanation below from the mraverage site:

Another thing we need to take into account about scientific penis size studies is what is called self-selection bias. Short version is guys who think they are small are unlikely to want to participate in size study. While guys who think they are big are more likely to participate.

First a definition:

Self-selection bias - Wikipedia

Quote
In statistics, self-selection bias arises is any situation in which individuals select themselves into a group, causing a biased sample with nonprobability sampling.[citation needed] It is commonly used to describe situations where the characteristics of the people which cause them to select themselves in the group create abnormal or undesirable conditions in the group.

What’s the average penis size?

The reason? They’re based on measurements from laboratory studies where men knew they were participating in research to see how their knobs measured up.

This means guys who were worried about size were less likely to participate, whilst guys who thought they had big schlongs were more than happy to waggle them under researchers noses.

Wait, so the median is 5.65 inches BPEL? That would be roughly 5 inches NBPEL. And if the average is 5.9 inches BPEL, then that would be roughly 5.25 inches NBPEL. Of course, considering the fat pad is 0.65 inches in both cases (which sounds about right). So the median penis length is approx. 5 inches NBPEL, and the average penis length is approx. 5.25 inches NBPEL. That’s strange, because I always thought the average is more like 5.5 inches NBPEL. I guess at 5.7 inches NBPEL I am actually good then, especially considering the median and average are respectively about 5 inches NBPEL and 5.25 inches NBPEL. That’s actually really weird; I feel much better about myself now that I think of it this way.

For what it is worth, here’s something one of our gay members posted about penis length that I think is pretty interesting. His pre-PE size was 6”:

Wow, that makes me feel really good now, because he said that the majority of men he was with were under 6 inches BPEL. I am 6.3 inches BPEL. That means I really am on the higher side of average in terms of length. I guess my length makes up for my lower average girth (4.5 inches). Overall, I feel good now that I think about it like this. I think I know why I used to think I was small in terms of length, because whenever I would read averages I would only think in terms of NBPEL. I didn’t even know what BPEL was until I found out about PE. So, whenever you see people mentioning 6 inches to be average, they meant BPEL, but I thought they meant NBPEL- that’s why I felt small.

Many people are discovering PE every single day this will undoubtedly change average size’s across the board but that will take a few years and all women will expect a 7 or 8 inch long penis and a 6+ thick D.

Im so happy that we are seeing a change in public opinion at least on thunders.
We had some threads who undoubtly showed the average(and mean) to be much smaller then expected.
Exposing most of the B.S heresay and also the porn industry.

I dont see that coming.
Most are not able to go past newbie gains. And many dont even get there as it is so tedious.
Many know about PE but most dont do it for real.

The funny thing with woman who talk B.S about penis size is that they think a 6.6 bpel is a 8.0 bpel.
