Is Edging the same as Kegels

Hi,

I have recently started the Newbie routine and was wondering if I could replace Kegels with Edging.

Would it have the same effect ?

No. Kegels strengthen your BC muscle. Edging teaches you to control ejaculation. Two separate issues. (although a building a strong BC is helpful for controlling ejaculation)

Edging has to do with controlling ejaculation and doing REVERSE kegels. Someone posted this link on another thread and it will help you understand the difference:

Yes, if you follow that article and "train" yourself to last 30 minutes alone, you will pretty much be able to last as long as you want with a partner.
