Jelqing at 40-50

Is it true that jelqing with a 40% erection will produce a higher gain in length than jelqing with a harder erection?

Most times (not in my case though). Jelqing at a lower erection would produce a stretching effect in addition to the jelq.

What jelqing at partial erection allows is the isolation of a “pool” of blood when firmly applying your grip. You can really feel the forcing of that pool of blood forward when doing the jelq stroke, causing the tunica stretching from within. With a full, hard erection, it’s difficult to get the correct partial constriction of the erectile tissue that gives us the useful hydraulic action of jelqing.

I think there is better success with having under a 60% erection when jelqing.

Depends on your goals. If you want girth, look to higher erection jelqs, both length and girth, 50-70% erection, length only 30-50%.
