Hello everyone, and thank you to the top who accepted me!!

I just got myself an extender two weeks ago after reading about them and having been aware of them for various years..

Of course when I received it, it went straight on.. Thing is the information that came with it was full of other exercises and little info about the extender and how to use it properly.yes, It was a cheap one from ebay.

So, the first day I kept it on for a few hours and gradually after a few days wear it for 8 (ish) hours, depending on my schedule (taking it off to urinate a resting that way) In fact after two weeks, I have been out with it on and found other ways of wearing it and keeping it comfortable. 5 days on 2 off

When I can, I will have a small work out with oil, etc after I have taken it off massaging my unit and trying to start to get a rhythm of jelqing and other exercises going.

One thing I do not do regularly is hot moist pads or rice socks..
- SHOULD I be doing this before and after I put the extender on??
- How do I know I am not under stretching, so wasting my time and energy?
- If my BPFSL has to be longer than BPEL before I gain length, when do I know to stretch more?
- Can extenders cause damage?

I know I have a whole bunch of more questions and am sure many newbies will do too, so maybe with this thread others can join in with their questions and anxieties!! And I can find answers to mine..

Extenders are weird things. They can seem like the easiest equipment to use but it’s actually quite hard to figure out whether you are using them in a way that is effective for penis enlargement. Personally, though the majority of people here would disagree with me, I’m not sure extenders have any positive effect and may even have a negative effect.

An extender with a noose style attachment puts a lot of pressure on a very sensitive area of the penis
Any extender will reduce circulation or potentially stop circulation to particular areas of the penis
It’s not safe to stop circulation for an extended period of time, you end up killing cells and potentially damaging nerves.

So, the safe period of time to wear an extender, before removing it and allowing 5 minutes for circulation to return to normal, is probably around 20 minutes. Longer than that and you may find it is fine 99 out of 100 times but the 100th time you damage your penis permanently.

This tends to be dependent on the tension used as well. Many people who wear extenders for long periods, seem to do so at extremely low tension. It’s fairly easy to argue that this will have no effect on the size of the penis, though the potential for a “newbie bump” of a gain of up to 1/2” (1.25cm) is quite plausible, it’s probably equally obtainable with the newbie routine and beyond that bump I would expect to see gains stall.

Heat is generally a good thing certainly before or in the first half of a session.

You don’t speak about your experience with PE. If it is limited, I would put the extender away and wait at least 3 months to see how far you get with the newbie routine. If you then wish to go back to using an extender, consider buying an alternate head for your extender, so that it doesn’t have a noose attachment.

I beleive the tension I am using is low, that am not over stretching.. But do not really want to be under stretching either

.I have no discolouring on my gland, any discomfort I am checking it.. Discomfort comes from the skin at the back.. And even 1/2” gain sounds good

.Is what you are saying that maybe I should cut down on the time I spend wearing it and start with the newbie routine?combine?

Are there people here who have had good results with extenders? Are there people with damage from them?

I’m suggesting that 1/2” gain is for some people a really easy thing. They can almost do anything and get there. The newbie routine is probably a better route there than an extender as the newbie routine prepares you for other routines.

There are certainly people who have posted results using extenders. The majority of people seem to use them as a supplemental step after a proper PE routine though.

Yes certainly the more serious injuries posted here seem often to relate to extender use and to a lesser extent hanger use. All forms of PE have risk of injury though, which is why we tend to suggest taking a route that is less prone to injury first, before perhaps of necessity taking a route that runs closer to a chance of injury.

Questions are good but it’s also good to try to read a fair amount. The threads linked in the Start Here thread are particularly useful and the more you can understand the anatomy of the penis, the better.

If you make sure your measurements are very accurate and maybe take photos (for yourself or to post) you will be able to tell much more easily if you are gaining. I would have thought that within a month of being on the Newbie Routine, you should know whether it’s working for you.

Well divine intervention took place last night with me breaking the extender!! It must have been sat on!!

I will get another one but that now forces me to get my routine sorted out properly..

Should the newbie routine be done once a day, gradually increasing the exercises times??
