Greetings. First of all, let me say thank you all for this great site and the information so freely available here. I’m a complete novice to both this site in particular and PE in general. And this is my first post, no less. So far I’ve only done the basic Newbie Routine posted so helpfully here twice (and taken one day off). I’ve got a few questions and concerns; if anyone could help me out I’d really appreciate it.

My starting measurements are as follows:

Bone Pressed Flaccid Stretched Length - 6.25”

Flaccid Girth - 3.75”

Bone Pressed Erect Length - 6.25”

Erect Girth - 5”

I am overweight and unfortunately have a rather substantial pubic fat pad. I’m working on reducing this with the usual diet and exercise, but in the meantime - aside from making taking a Bone Pressed measurement fairly painful - it results in a Non-Bone Pressed Stretched Length of about 4.5”, and a Non-Bone Pressed Erect Length of about 4.25” (from where my penis emerges from the fat pad).

I’ve performed the Loss Of Tugback test, and I don’t seem to lose tugback at ANY angle. Even when pointing straight down, there is still slight but definite (visible) tugback. This leads me to believe that I might not be able to expect much length gain from stretching of ligaments. Therefore, I’ve decided to concentrate on an upward stretch while doing the Newbie Routine (which should target the Tunica, correct?), and then move onto a V-stretch after the first 2-3 months.

My biggest concern so far is whether I’m performing the various Newbie Routine exercises correctly. I’m pretty sure I’m doing the Hot Wrap right (I alternate between two wash cloths, running the one I’m not using under hot water to warm it back up, and then switching them out when the one I’m using goes cool, every 20-30 seconds or so). I’m also pretty sure I’m doing the basic stretch correctly, as it’s fairly simple - as I said, I’m pulling straight up along my belly to target the tunica. Kegels are no problem - assuming that the relevant muscle is the one flexed when stopping the flow of urine, causing the penis to retract slightly, I’ve got it down cold. In place of the post-routine Hot Wrap, I’ve just been taking a hot shower, allowing the water to bathe my penis thoroughly for several minutes.

The main difficulty comes with the Jelq. I’m using Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Body Moisturizer as a lubricant - is this a good choice? As I squeeze up the shaft of my penis, unless I’m fully erect (which is not a good idea with the Jelq, correct?) the skin of my penis sort of “rolls” up along with it - I’m concerned that this might be decreasing the effectiveness of the exercise. Furthermore, getting a good grip on the base of my shaft is made slightly awkward by the presence of the fat pad, as I have to push in on it to get as close to the base as I can, which seems an inexact maneuver at best.

Overall, I’m worried that I’m simply using poor technique, and don’t have a clear fix on what proper technique would look like. From what I’ve read on this site, inexact technique can mean months of fruitless effort unless corrected. This is made all the more frustrating by the fact that I haven’t been able to download the Wet Jelq Video yet - the window it opens up when I click on the tab simply hangs fire indefinitely!

Well, that’s all I’ve got for right now. If anyone has any helpful information, comments, observations, or insights I would be very grateful for the guidance. Meanwhile, I’ll keep doing what I’m doing. Thanks!

However, everyone develops their own technique, I don’t think you have to be 100% accurate to see gains.

Remember, everyone is different. As long as you see positive PI’s and perhaps a plumper penis after a workout and feel a “stretch” in the groin afterwards, things are working on some level.

Remember, you develop technique. If you are PEing for a year that is about 72 hours of solid jelqing, plenty of time to develop technique.

There is no rush or set answer. Get to learn the feedback from your own body.
