I asked this in another thread, but I think that it was dead.

I have a low LOT. I can see retraction all the way down, basically. Does that mean that I should never do ADS that pull the penis down the leg? If I am understanding LOT correctly, that would do me not good, right?

For now, being a Newbie, forget everything you read about LOT. I have a low LOT too and I don’t think it means anything. Do the Newbie Routine for starters and after you get conditioned choose whatever adjunct method that is comfortable for you. You may make good gains from the Newbie Routine and want to stay with it. :)

People value the LOT theory way to much. Stop worrying with it and start with the newbie routine, it exists for a reason.

Will do. I’m just trying to plan ahead. It has been almost a month so far. No gains so far, but I am a lot more sensitive.

Dunno.

When the LOT theory was first laid out there was a sort of poll. I had already made the gains I wanted. I noticed that some others of us who had good gains also came out low LOT. I really don’t think that going by one’s LOT has much to do with the effectiveness of any PE program adopted.

I had a very low LOT when I started and still do and made great gains.


Start nov05 6.313" BPEL x 5.250" EG

Current 7.5" BPEL(goal reached!) x 5.375" EG

Goal 7.5" BPEL x 6.25" EG

I agree with Avocet. My LOT actually rose as I kept PEing — specifically, hanging at low angles (which is supposed to decrease it, according to the original “LOT theory” formulation). This change may have been measurement error, but in any case, my personal experiences, coupled with ModestoMan’s theoretical investigations, suggest to me that LOT doesn’t mean much.

Theoretical question: supposedly ligament gains are from how much you have in your ‘inner’ shaft or whatever. I have a pretty big sack I guess you could say , and I can feel a lot of penis under there. You think this has any effect of gains or not? I hope to start soon, I have been reading and studying a lot of stuff lately before I begin.

I thought LOT was a really important part of figuring out your routine. It is one of the first things I read, because of the layout of the Newbie page. I really hope that it is not right, because that means I will be a slow gainer.

I also have a low lot, and I have been on the newbie routine for 2 month’s now, no big visible results, maybe 0.2” in length or if anything. It kinda worried me too when I read about lot that I would be a slow gainer, and it seems to be that way :(

Only way to find out is to try to make some gains :) There’s no way to directly compare how much “inner penis” you have compared to other guys, so I wouldn’t worry much about it for now.

Yes, someday we may want to update the layout of the Newbie page. It seems that many veteran hangers have doubts about LOT’s importance, and surely it can be a discouraging distraction, as you suggest, if it’s not true.

Any link on how to find out your LOT?
