Major Jelqing Scare this morning

I’ve been jelqing 3x/week for about six months, and made good gains with it. This morning I was jelqing and all of a sudden felt a hard ring around my shaft at the end, about 1/2” below the ring of the glans.

No pain but very very strange feeling, I immediately stopped jelqing and gently massaged my penis to a flaccid state to try and figure out what was going on and to get the blood moving. I (carefully) masturbated 10 min later to see if there were any problems, my entire penis was super veiny and the ring below the glans that had formed was super hard, like there was a vein running there that is now on the surface level. The ring feels just like an rolled up condom when my penis is hard.

No problems getting and maintaining an erection, and no pain, no discoloration.

After this happened my flaccid penis is thicker at the end of the shaft where the ring formed, and has a wide puffy ring, about 1/2” wide - this has never happened before (penis is now bulb shaped at the end shaft/glans)

I’m worried I’ve damaged something in my dick. Anybody know what could have happened?

I’m 90% sure I’m done with jelqing, seems way too risky to me now.

I can take some photos if that would help figure out what happened.

Wait and see what it looks like tomorrow. If there’s no pain or discoloration it may be nothing did you have a tight grip.

I have also experienced it within the first year of PE and gaining.
After a longer break, it disappeared even after I again have started with PE (incl. Jelqing).

It is not dangerous or becoming painful, if anything it is a potent sign of growing.
