This is just an idea I wanted thoughts on. It seems to me that getting an erection briefly to loosen-up the blood vessels responsible for erections and then pumping after that erection subsides would help the vacuum to draw more blood into the penis thus enlarging the internals?

Any thoughts? (I have read about people taking l-arginine and other supplements, so maybe I am just a bit slow to understand a very basic idea?)

i use 10 minute pumping sessions which might sound short, but it’s worked wonders for my EQ & flaccid size/ girth. just slowly build up to max pressure over a few minutes as I warm up, then maintain

I guess I will take any kinds of gains, but I have been trying to gain length mostly.

About 2 years ago my BPEL was 6.0 inches and now it is 6.5 inches. However, I have noticed that a normal erection is only 6.0 inches. In other words, there is about 0.5 inches difference between a normal erection and a maximum erection. (I am 58, so that is probably a factor.)

I also notice some subtle girth gains, but those gains seem to come from a thick layer of spongy skin on the surface. I imagine true girth should come from the corpus cavernosum. This is why I wondered about combining arousal or dilation of blood vessels so that the interior of the penis gets stretched and grows rather than the spongy surface.

I’ve been pumping for quite a while and have tried lots of routines. For the first several years, I had good gains, totaling about an inch in BPEL and an inch in girth. I now fill up an 8 inch tube lengthwise — I wish Zenhanger, my favorite pump, would make a 9 and about 3/4 fill up the 2 1/2 inch tube. My wife likes my size now and doesn’t want too much more - unless she’s really excited — so I mostly concentrate on EQ and maybe a little girth. That being said, I also use fairy short sessions, 3 to 4/week, but vary the timing and pressure as follows — Go in with 80-90 percent erection: 1 minute up to 20 kph, release pressure for 10-15, pump 2 minutes up to 30 kpa, release 10-15 seconds, pump 4 minutes, up to 40 kpa and at 3 minutes let it slowly depressurize, release 10-20 seconds, pump 8 minutes — 2 minutes at 30 kph, 2 minutes at 40 kph, let it depressurize back to 30 for 2 minutes, then 40 for 2 minutes, then let it depressurize down to 20-15 kpa, end of session. Total time: 17 minutes. Afterwards, I use a compression sleeve for an hour or 2. It does a lot for my flaccid size and EQ. If you get a lot of edema, you may want to wrap your frenulum, but limiting it to this short time, I don’t get much.

Starting stats: 7 1/4 bpel, 5 mseg. Now: 8 1/4 bpel (8 1/2 on a really good day), 6 mseg, 6 1/4 beg.

Thanks for the details of your routine with the numbers. I use an electric pump, but I use similar vacuums. There is a program which pumps to a target vacuum and then immediately releases and repeats. I work up to about 45 kpa using that program. Holding 40 kpa vacuum for 2 minutes would be very painful for me, but I can hold 30-35 kpa for 2 minutes without much pain after working up to it. I also have been finding that 20-25 minutes is my limit to minimize edema. I haven’t been going into the session with an 80% erection though. I usually start at 0% erection, but I try to get aroused during the session in hopes that it might help the training.
