Most effective stretching

What do you guys think is the most effective stretching method?

I know it depends, but in general I mean.

Regular stretching, closely followed by inverted v and JAI stretches. But you should only worry about regular stretches the upcoming 3 months because inverted v and JAI stretches are advanced exercises.
