Newbie Injury

Hello,

I think I started a little too hard and was clamping and ULI’s + jelqs.

I have lost EQ and have a dull pain/cooling sensation in the area between the scrotum and anus.

I lose erections within about 10 seconds of stimulation and erections are less firm even when kegal-ing.

This has been going on for about 2 days with little improvement.

Has anyone had this problem or have experience with this?

Anyone care to shed light? Venous leak? Or just temporary injury?

First, relax, I doubt it is the dreaded venous leak. I’m no expert, but I think you over did your kegels. I would take maybe a week off, let your dick and pelvic floor recover. Wait for your PIs and EQ to get 100% back to normal, then slowly start back at a lower intensity than before.

How easy is it to get a venous leak? I scheduled an appointment with a urologist regardless, but using that intense of a workout how likely would it be?

I see this stuff posted all the time “venous leak this and that” but realistically, in a younger person would a very hard workout cause a venous leak?

I’m a little skeptical it’s that, but still would like to know how often that happens in younger folks.. Mid 20’s to early 30’s.

Maybe some of the more senior folks here could chime in. I don’t think it is very common, but I’m just guessing. Your urologist should be able to tell you if you really have a venous leak. But if it was me I’d want to give myself some time to heal on my own before I would let the doctor do anything drastic to “fix” my problem. How much time until your appointment?

About 3 weeks.

I tried sexual intercourse tonight and didn’t go well at all. Could not stay hard one bit. Premature ejac.

I’m a little worried. If I’m not 100% in three weeks I’ll ask for the Doppler.

Is a venous leak an urgent thing? I’m wondering if I should be seen right away.

I’m optimistic on your odds of being completely well before 3 weeks.

I’d probably try to limit sexual activity for a while. I had an injury early on and explained to my wife that I needed some time to rest. I was lucky and back in action a couple days later. You might be out a little longer. If you are in a relationship you might want to think up some other ways to keep your significant other happy.

From what I understand, no, a venous leak is not an urgent problem, in that additional injury does not seem likely if it is not treated immediately. But I’m not a doctor, so please call your urologist’s office and ask.

Best of luck to you. Please keep us posted on your progress. I don’t always check in here but I will in about a week, hopefully you will have had some good news to report.

Night erections are probably 20%. Very soft and decrease in size almost instantly. Short and not full size.

Hopefully this will get better soon.

First off worry is the biggest erection killer. I know it’s hard not to worry.

Secondly, you were very aggressive for being a newb. Take three weeks and keep your hands off. I’d shy away from sex as well. If you’d like to see how your doing set your alarm to go off about an hour earlier than normal. Many people reach R.E.M. and this is typically when men get nocturnal erections. Give this a go in a week and see if you have night wood. Granted not everyone gets night wood.

As far as injuries go how often are they permanent? Do you see a lot of newbies get permanent injuries? This has been the second injury in about a month and a half so it’s a little more concerning this time.

Just got some L-Arginine, Ginko Biloba, Ginseng, and Horny Goat Weed. I’ll be taking that over the next three weeks to keep blood flow good and prevent atrophy.

Just recently tried masturbation. Did not work too well. Couldn’t hold an erection.

Hopefully this goes away soon and I’m not impotent.

You can do what you want, but that’s not what I meant when I suggested you take a week off. I’m trying not to be bossy, so this is the last time I’m going to offer you this advice. IMO, you should:
1. Put your dick back in your pants.
2. Leave it in there for a week.
3. No kegels.
4. No supplements.
5. No sex.
6. No masturbation.
7. No anything.
Just let it rest and recover. While it is resting enjoy your time off. Read a book. Learn how to play the guitar. Whatever will keep your mind and your hands off your junk.

Peace.

Unfortunately there are still lack of morning and night woods. Even if I do manage to get one it’s only 20-40%.

It’s been a full 3 days without improvment.

i don’t want to be rude but if you experienced something that damaged your unit then why would you try and have intercourse?

Wait until full recovery. 2 weeks minimum. NO SEX NO PE NO MASTURBATION NO KEGELS

good luck!

Minor setback for a major comeback

My urologist said light sex and light masturbation was fine and is good to keep blood flow in the penis preventing potential atrophy, but no straining or rough sex.

I’ll keep this thread updated for anyone else potentially experiencing the same thing.

You’re probably scaring your own erection away. Chill out for a week and relax. Light jelq will stimulate blood flow same as some light masturbation. You’ll be hard and back to 100% before you know it bud
