Hello,
I’ve been lurking for a while and just I am just starting into PE. Being in my mid forties, I have noticed a definite “shrinkage” problem over the last few years along with the typical softening erections that middle age brings. Given my age and the fact that I ain’t getting any younger, I have finally decided to do something about it.

After reading the basic “how to’s” on PE, I have a few questions. To start out, the proper jelqing techniques, which if I understand correctly is to force blood into the penis, create microscopic tears in the tissue and stretch the skin to allow for growth. Since I feel that I am rather small (6 1/4 erect) and have large hands, I lack the necessary room for a full stroke. What I have been doing is a warm wrap to limber up then I get a firm grasp at the base with my thumb and pinky finger, then firmly wrap each finger in turn up the shaft ending up with my index finger slightly behind the glands. This appears to be accomplishing the blood forcing as the area ahead of my fingers enlarges to full erection diameter. The problem that I am running into is that it feels like this technique may be a little too effective. The skin feels like is is stretching to the point of mild discomfort. Is this normal? Or am I doing the jelqing wrong? I usually do about five to ten “squeezes” with one hand then switch to the other in order to keep things balanced out. Lastly I finish up with several stretches. This leads to my next question, exactly how hard does one “pull”? Currently, I am pulling to the mild discomfort level (again this is from the skin on my penis, not internally). T

Sounds like you are using a ‘milking’ action. Nothing wrong with that, but if you feel that it might be a little TOO effective, just dial it back a little.

Stretching to the mild discomfort level sounds about right. PE should not be painful, but some degree of discomfort is not uncommon.

By the way, you are by no means small at 6 1/4 inches erect (BP or NBP?).

Good for you for ‘taking matters into your own hands’, so to speak. Others here have reported better erections and a reversal of age-related shrinkage from PE. Good luck to you, and let us know how things are going for you. Above all, do not overdo it, and stay with it!

After doing MORE reading, it appears that I am of the “tight cut” circumcision persuasion. From what I can tell, things will eventually stretch out to a comfortable “fit” so to speak. Right I am using a dry technique and my measurement is BP length. I am hoping to get most of my teenage length (and girth) back over the next year or three, so as you can see I have set some pretty lofty goals.ALTHOUGH in reality, I (and my wife too) will be happy to see 7.25 again.

You’ll get it back, a millimeter and a day at a time. As Penismith just wrote in another post, it’s easier to get it back than to gain it in the first place. (penismith - Mixed Reviews on PE) Just stick with it. Does your wife know about your PE efforts? It’ll make it easier if she knows and is supportive.
