Hey guys, so I’ve been a member and an avid reader of forums on TP for a while now, and I have gotten a ton of help from just reading post after post. However, recently it seems as though all progress has stagnated and my gains have come to a complete halt, so now I am forced to break my posting virginity. Over the past two years or so, I have been starting and stopping with the newbie routine and gained about 1/2 an inch in length and next to nothing in girth, but my gains stopped about 6 months ago. I have been doing variations of the newbie routine (with more dry jelqs) and even switching it up once in a while because I thought it would help. I guess I’m just looking for some advice on what my next step should be. I live in a dorm so I can’t really use hangers, stretchers, etc. And I actually prefer not to. I am staying away from the gadgets and keeping it natural if you catch my drift. With that in mind, does anybody know how I should proceed with my exercises in the future? Much thanks in advance.

I’ve had great succes just with manual exercises. Maybe you should try advanced techniques then, v-stretches for example.

Search for the ‘advanced gain mechanism’ thread, by Memento, or look into Bennet8’ thread. Do one of those routine for at least three months; if you don’t get any gains, take a deconditioning break.

No really, don’t add anything else.

In fact do less than the newbie routine and work up to the target jelq rep range and EQ you had when you stopped. Start at about half of what you did and take your time adding very little reps each workout and only after you’ve fully recovered. So if you did 200 wet jelqs then start at 100 and add 5-10 good wet jelqs every workout. Within a few months you’ll find you’re growing and your penis is stronger with, get this, less freakin reps in the first place.

When are newbies going to learn it’s not how much you can add to your PE routine, but how well you can do the basic exercises and still gain a stronger erection. So you don’t get confused I’m saying adding exercises and reps is a bad idea. Go back to the basics and relearn what you think you already know. In time you will find jelqing properly completely wears your penis out, and when you can’t get 70- 80% anymore your PE workout is done.

Thanks for the replies guys. I’ll try breaking down my routine like Divider suggested. I’ve heard hanging could affect EQ if not done properly, that’s why I’m not taking a chance. I’ll let y’all know if I start gaining again. In the mean time, more replies are always helps. :D Once again, much appreciated guys.

So many times, my penis has died and I’ve tried to force to get erect so I could keep on jelqing. I learned something new today, but I gotta say, I had a hunch about this I just never quit.

I have nearly the same exact problem. I’ve PE’d on and off for years now, but I’m getting serious about it again in 2013. I’ve cut out masturbating too to see if that does anything. Basically, I really really want to gain some girth, as a hemorrhoid operation last year dropped my already low EG from 4.5” to 4.25”. But in all my years of PEing I have never gained permanent girth. I am working with a very light routine right now of:

50 dry jelqs
50 wet jelqs
10 orange bends
15 jelq + hold every other day.

I’ve found less is more for length gains but girth always seems to be a problem. People always say you need to push girth a little harder, but there have been maybe one or two times I’ve injured myself trying to do this (this is why I, too, prefer to stick to manual exercises). I guess you could say I’ve always been at a girth plateau. What’s the protocol for breaking a girth plateau, especially if you believe that you are a “less is more” guy?

I could see. Hoe hanging could negatively effect EQ if done incorrectly, but it improved mine.

Well I can’t give an exact answer for breaking a girth plateau, simply because what I do goes beyond the norm and you’re not going to believe it at first, and I’m still working on and researching this stuff myself and I want to be 100% on my advice. But I can tell you what I know is you have to work within your CNS’ ability to heal and not cause any serious damage to the veins and capillararies during your routine. Get it? Don’t stress your cock out and don’t bruise it also.

Aside from a 1-3 week break from all PE until your rock hard again. I would also strongly recommend you drop your serious PE routine down to once every week and either add or subtract a day in between until you adjust your routine accordingly, and every rest day stick to light edging and warm ups. You’re still going to grow so don’t worry, but the problem here is you need to focus on the capillaries and better blow flow which means KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF YOUR DICK.

Another thing I have to add, and I know I’m a scatter brain tonight and this doesn’t make much sense, vigorous masterbation or edging to get you hard again for PE really wears on your sensitivity. You don’t brush your gums for an hour straight, so don’t rub your head raw. If possible get a flesh light and train the way you would with a woman…… both for PE and pleasure.
