While we’re clarifying, I hope no one was under the impression that I actually believe that - in its current state and my current understanding - that PMMA or really any penis surgery at the moment is anywhere near safe or effective enough to be worth the risks or money. But i thought I’d prod here anyway for any hot new stuff on the surgery scene - my mistake.
It’s because the threads are up forever. Because guys 15 years from now will be reading these threads in their contact lens computers and skimming through this stuff and we try to keep it…simple. So that people with no idea of what PE is about know that surgery is pretty much a bad thing. I mean honestly, I can’t say it’s a recommendable option. You’re fully aware of all of these things. But every person who could possibly read this thread is not going to be able to be aware of that.
Much of the kickback you got is the reflex to safeguard the future. I ain’t ask the wagons to circle you. It is the culture here that is protective and I can’t say I’m unhappy with the result.
The information you seek is likely on the other boards. Beware though, surgery is a heavy thing. It weighs on the mind, to drastically change one’s image overnight. And many posts you read there, regrets or not, may be weird things. I remember reading a Jenny Craig (I think it was) essay on her journey of body acceptance. She spoke on getting breast implants in the early days. And how, despite them getting hard every time…having them yanked out was not a solution. The doctor assured her she would be suicidal within weeks, he had seen it commonly enough to say that.
So…consider the mental ramifications also.
