Smoking is a major risk factor for peripheral vascular disease in the long term and in the short term causes vasoconstriction which is the opposite of what you want to do. Whether it will make a significant difference in the long run if you continue to be aggressive with PE - hard to say, but I’d bet that your gains would be quicker without it.
Not to mention all the other stuff smoking is associated with when you get older: lung cancer, bladder cancer, heart disease, stroke, pulmonary embolism, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, mouth cancer, infection (lowered immune status), etc. It also makes your skin prematurely age. This is obvious when you look at any girl who’s smoked for a while. It’s almost as bad as sun damage, at least looks wise.
One thing’s for sure. You’ll regret it later and wish you’d have quit. Not giving you personally a hard time cause I know any addiction is a bitch to quit, but this one’s a really, really bad one. Try the patch and zyban together. Worked for my friend. He had to quit because he’s an actor/singer and it was fucking up his voice (another side effect).
