Softer erections - help please

HI guys, ok I’ve been PEing for about 6-8months on anf off. The last 2 months I’ve taken it seriously and been following the penis-health programme and excercises on here. What I’m noticing is that my erections are not as hard during sex. If I mastrubate sure they are big and hard, but during sex I never stay really hard more 80%.

Any help with this?

E.g. Of my excercises:

Length - manual stretches (beginners programme)
Girth - Dry jelqs, jelq and hold, uli’s, mega strecths etc
Kegals - 100 x 1 sec K’s, 30 x 5sec k’s and then a few 30-60 sec K’s

I do 3 days on, 1 day off. Not had amazing results as I really havent put effort in until now. Maybe I’m over exerting? But then again I took a week off this week and had sex with my GF again and same problem??

I have noticed if I wear a condom it helps, but it’s just puzzling me

Overtraining will result in weaker erections. I’m surprised a week off didn’t sort out the problem; were you still kegaling? A tired BC is not good for erections. Maybe reduce the numbers on two of your three workout days and just do the full set one or two days a week.

Take a week off and see how it goes. Do no PE or kegels. Give your penis a rest.

Thanks guys. Actually thinking baou tit more, when I used ot have unprotected sex with my last ex b4 PEing, I had the saem problem. Weird. BUt yeha maybe I have over trained. It’s hard to know how much is too much sometimes.

Yeah Ive also noticed that condoms improve erections.

Hi kingpole, I got a cock ring wore it last night and noticed I got rock hard. Even with this I don’t stay fully hard for long. This may not be a new problem. Any ideas how to rectify this is I fix over training and I still have problems?

Could this be I havent been doing enough kegals and maybe I’m not able to support my improved size if that makes sense? I havent made huge gains but noticable still.

I probably have been over training since I started. It’s hard to gauge whats too much. I never feel pain when I train not matter how hard I pull/squeeze. Think il be a bit more gentle and see how it goes. Infact being very honest I think I do overtrain interms of time anyway. It’s just it doesnt feel like I’m overtraining so I carry on. For e.e.g when you guys do manual stretching, do you pull simply til you feel a gentle bit of resistence or do you continue to increase until there is a lot of resistence? I may not be making sense here but just trying to explain.

BUt like I say, when I masturbate I can get verfy very hard and see the gains, but with sex I can’t hold it.

Also phoenix, just wondering generally do you guys find once your hard and havign sex/masturbating, that you stay fully hard continously or does the hardness fluctuate? I’m not talkign about just if you stop or slow down, but just generally.

I know it’s not the best comparison to use but in porn films these guys are rock hard form start to finish. Id like to work towards this - is this simple a matter of kegals, to be able to support a fully gorged penis? Or is it also giving your penis time to just simply accept it’s growing lenght/width?

Pain is not a reliable indicator of overtraining. I pump, and I pump with a gauge, because it’s too easy to generate way too much vacuum and not feel it. That’s true of other PE methods as well: it’s easy to overdo and not feel it at the time.

If your erections are not as hard during sex, I recomment that you read this thread:

PIs are my friend. Careful observation tells me when it’s time to take a day off from time to time.

PE varies from individual to individual, so you will have to pay attention and learn what indicators are meaningful for your body’s reaction to PE. With that said, someone said once that they had never heard of anyone saying that his erection quality was down, but he was getting great gains in size.

Keep in mind that the porn stats may have one major advantage over you: good editing. What you see on screen may be the result of more than one ‘take’.

Aj, you’ve been doing plenty of kegels; quite possibly enough to tire out your BC and reduce erection strength.

With manual stretching, build up the stretch slowly and really concentrate on the feeling of stretch. When you feel you have got the maximum amount of stretch out of your penis, hold that level of resistance. Pulling harder will not yield faster gains; all it will do is toughen up your ligaments, making it harder to get gains.

When you are masturbating, your entire focus is on sensations from your penis. When having sex, some of your attention is on your partner, so it is slightly more difficult to stay rock hard if you’re penis is tired from over-training. If you are having sex for a long time, your erection hardness is more likely to vary than if having a quick shag.

The porn guys are only filmed rock hard; if their erection softens, that ends up on the cutting room floor. Most of them are using viagra/cialis or similar drugs anyway.

Thanks again guys. It’s given me alot to think about. I have really been correct about my PE training mentality. I think I’ve been pulling WAY too hard. I’ve since this htread tried to gently pull until I feel slight resistence and look for more slight indicators of tunica and lig stretching. And yes I’ve been training wrong.

Also jelqing FAR too hard. I took a few days off and woke up on the plane with a very hard strong boner atht just wouldn’t go away. So yes big signs of over doing it and completely stpuid training.

I’m goifn back to the newbie programme and I’m gonna stick to it miitantly. Also gonna check out PI’s and read up on LOT theory too which has really helped me understand it’s not just walkign into a gym and start lifting.
