In regard to your question. Just a a firm grip is required to ensure a reasonablae ‘pull’ is used to stretch your unit. The best way is to get used to doing the exercise reasonably easily, then increse the pressure as you become more experienced with how your penis is reacting to the pull.
Again do the manual exercise for a few sessions . To dive in to advanced routines is a quick way to injury. It’s the same with every exercise you do with your body. Easy first, then gradually increase the force.
That way you learn how much you can tolerate before damaging things.
