I don’t think you have anything to apologize for. If anybody reads your initial post closely, they would see that you weren’t taking credit for someone else’s ideas at all. You were just describing something which has already been dubbed “fowfers,” as far as I can see. Just forget about it, man!

You claim to be 53 years old. Much respect goes to a senior member. My mum has brought me up well enough to be respectful towards elders. You had the decorum to apologize although you wasn’t obliged to, hats off to you. I had assumed that it was one of those goofy clowns from that site. My mistake to jump into conclusions like that.
