The Psychology of PE

The Psychology of PE

I know in my case my attitude has transformed from “impossible” via “really?” to “it seems to actually work!” - and I have yet to reach “i’m absolutely conviced.”.

Does any of that matter as long as one keeps doing the exercises in the same way?

PE start Aug 25, 2013: BPEL 6.7" x EG 4.7" and BPFSL 7".

Paused between Dec 2013 and Dec 2014 due to injury. Careful with those rice socks!

Goal 7" x 5". Ideal is 8" x 6" but let's not even dream about that yet...!

Hey man

I’m at exactly the same starting size and have the same goal aswell. :)

Good luck with your PE journey and I hope we both achieve our goals!

EL:6.7"|8|9|7.0"|1|2|3|4|7.5"

EG:4.8"|9|5.0"|1|2|3|4|5.5"

I just started about a week and a half ago. I’m skeptical and feel a bit like a cultist here but am going at it 2 days on 1 off, ~1hr per session. I figure if I go at it like I have bodybuilding and it works, I’ll get results. I’ve noticed a bit harder, longer lasting erections like when I was in my mid to late teens, probably from the kegels. I’ll have that if nothing else.

1hr sessions are pretty long for a beginner, better start with the beginner-routine.
If you start with too much, you have nowhere to go. Also, your unit isn’t conditioned for higher stress-levels yet :)

Start 06.2012 BPEL: 6.1" EG: 5.3" Current BPEL: 7.1" EG: 5.6" Goal BPEL: 7.5" EG: 6"

I’m including warming up and taking time to get and maintain correct erection levels and all of that into that 1hr, so it’s probably less than an hour of actually putting stress on it. Likely closer to about ~30 mins.

Start: Sep 01 2013 | BPEL 6.9 - EG 4.9 (5.2 at thickest part)

I don’t mind the out of topic discussion but I would still like to know if anyone of the experienced guys here has a comment on the original question?

Because your question is not clear.

Ok, fair enough. Is it more clear like this:

Does the attitude and beliefs of the PE practitioner affect the results assuming an identical routine?

If you think learning physics is waste of time will that make a difference as far as your earning a Physics degree chances?

PE is exercise. If you follow a training plan to run a marathon, you will get fitter and have more running endurance whether you believe in the training or not. Whether you would get ‘better’ results with your marathon training if you did the training, resting, eating etc. identically but just changed your belief and attitude is difficult to say - a positive attitude would be beneficial for your hormone profile, and people often get better results from exercise when they are not going through high-stress times in their lives.

I actually think PE would be less affected by emotional state than many other forms of exercise, and any effect would be so miniscule that it would barely be worth taking into account, in terms of gains made.

However attitudes and belief definitely have some role to play in keeping motivation high and ensuring consistency in doing the routine, which are vital for PE. So although they may barely affect results assuming identical routine, they do keep you doing the routine.

firegoat is fully RETIRED from Thundersplace.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

Thanks guys.

Dude151) You are on the right track but not exactly right, because the word placebo has a negative connotation in this context having the implicit assumption that PE training does not work but beliving in it would make it work. That was not my question but perhaps it sounded like that.

Marinera) I know from my own life that studying something that isn’t subjectively interesting causes one to study less, or at least with less focus and love, hence giving worse results in the form of lower grades. One might still get the end results of the MSc or whatever, sure.

Firegoat) Well written!

I know that PE can be done by hypnosis. I experienced it myself many years ago, although I wasn’t persistant more than a few weeks, so perhaps the only effect was temporarily increased EQ. A lover back just when I was most busy with those tapes commented “Did you make a penis operation or what?!” - funny because measuring didn’t show any gains that were not within the random variation between any measurements.

I imagine a man deciding to walk as far as he can along a path that consisted of a series of painted arrows. Could he could walk measurably further if the arrows were pointed towards his destination than if they were pointing behind him? Possibly, but if he was committed to getting as far as he could he wouldn’t see the arrows at all, regardless of which direction the point.
