Thinking about extending my newbie routine.

I’m two months in with no gains. I switched from a regular OK grip to an overhand OK grip for jelqs (1 day in with new form) and I really like how it feels. So I’m hoping that will help. But I’m also considering extending my newbie routine from 5 to 7.5 minutes manual stretch and from 10 to 15 minutes jelquing. I definitely feel my penis has gotten stronger since I’ve started and after two months in this may be a fine progression. But this is just an idea and I in no way want to injure myself, so I wanted to ask the community what they thought. Thoughts?


03/2018: BPEL 5", MEG 4.4375". 05/2020: BPEL 6.1875", MEG 4.4375".

That worked very good for me, +1cm in Length after 3 Months.

Do you warm up your package? How often do you masturbate? Do you turtle?

I’ve read in different Threads that some Guys are something like "Hardgainers".

Please have a look at this Guy.

Thank you for this progress report. It’s inspiring.

I warm up just like the newbie routine suggests. I do 5 min hot wash cloth at the beginning, and 5 min hot wash cloth after jelqs. I’m masturbating about once a week. I don’t know what turtling is. I think there’s a good chance I’ve been making some mistakes with my form / took days off while out of town, which could be the cause of slow growth. Sometimes I was jelquing with 100% erection which I’ve later found out is bad, and then a lot of 70-90%. I’ve since moved down to 50% with good form so I’m going to wait another month or two before I consider myself a hard gainer.

Hey. 3 month in newbie here.

I started with the NR stock as described. I started adding time to the stretches slowly first. Then I increased the number of wet jelqs by 10 or 20 reps. I only added new exercises when I had not recently increased any of the original ones.

Best advice I can give is to always increase your time/reps but do it slowly and if you have ANY negative PI take the day off and revert to the intensity of the previous workout (before the negative PI)

I have been taking this conservative approach and it is working so far.

My current workout has morphed quite a bit over 3 months as I added time/reps/new exercises.

And KEEP READING this forum and rewatching the videos to perfect your technique and correct errors. That is probably the most important thing. My stretching and jelqing has continually improved due to watching the videos and reading new posts

Remember how far you've come, not just how far you have to go.

Starting: 6.0 BPEL 5.0 EG

Current: 7 BPEL 5.5 EG

Newbie gains come mostly from the better blood flow developed from jelquing. Start looking at extending your stretches and working with some slightly more stressful exercises to create controlled damage to the tissue and continue encouraging growth.
