To gain or not to gain...

To gain or not to gain...

So, I’m very new to this whole PE thing. Reading all the stuff on this website has been a real eye opener, and after reading so many threads with so much detail I just can’t believe that it doesn’t work. I’ve had a couple of false starts so far because I seem to have a sensitive dick. After my week off I will start with a lighter routine than the newbie routine proscribes - and probably one day on, one day off.

My question is this - if it (PE) works for most people (I saw the figure 4/5 somewhere) why doesn’t it work for everyone? I’ve come to the conclusion that the people for who it didn’t work must just need to find the right way for *them*. To my mind it doesn’t make sense that it works for most people but not at all for others. I mean I can see how it would be harder for some but not *impossible*.

What are your thoughts on this - why do some people not gain? We are all made of the same stuff!

I hope that in the next 2 or 3 months I will get to post an ecstatic thread about how I have achieved my first newbie gains (then I’ll reveal all the crazy paranoid thoughts I’ve had about what this site might be about - I am a serious sceptic and a cynic.).

Anyway, I hope this stuff works for me, and I’m not part of the unlucky few who do not seem to gain.

Cheers

Ben

Possible reasons why some people don’t gain:

1: Giving up
(a) frustration or lack of patience
(b) not believing it works
(c) lack of privacy or time
(d) becoming content with current size

2: Improper technique
(a) not listening to body and PIs
(b) over or under training
(c) not taking breaks
(d) lack of consistency

Thanks Cheeva - :)

May I add a third category if I could be so bold.

3: Not realising gains
(a) Not measuring properly, or at all.
(b) Not appreciating improvements in erection hardness
(c) More pronounced veins
(d) Removing/ Inducing bends into penis

That has always been how I look at it.

Running a Massive Co-Front.

I meant ‘Not understanding or appreciating gains’ instead of ‘Not realising gains’

Hi,

I had a false start some time ago and quit (after 4 weeks).

Reason:
-not enough privacy
-had some pain in my glans because I did something wrong in the newbie routine

Now I started again and I am training for 10 weeks now.

1.My penis now adapted to the stresses of stretching and jelqing
2.I tuned the newbie routine to avoid the pain in the gland
3.I have enough privacy to train without interruption

I don’t see any erect-gains by now, but my unit is fuller and bigger at flaccid state and I have better erections and can have more orgasms in a row. (I never did before)

These are all indicators that I found the best way to train my unit and I don’t expect anything by now……I think I need to train at least 6 months to measure some gains.

So here my advice:

1.find the best lube for you
2.you need privacy
3.be constant
4.don’t expect any gains within the first 6 months
5.listen to your body and try to tune your routine to find what works best for you and what makes you fell good and strong

Ciao
